A regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Elsinore was held on the
above=date. The meeting was called to order at the hour of ~ o'clock-PsM. with
Bdayor G. A. Lovejoy in the Chair.
Councilmen H. Gallagher, 0. B. Skeane, S. A?. Rice and.•C; A. Lovejoy answered
the roll call.
Absent: Councilman Geo. H. Morton Jr.
Minutes of the previous meeting held on May 22nd c:ere then read by the Clerk
and there being no corrections or,omissiohs-were'apprcved as'read;
Thereupon the Bldg. Supt's monthly report was presented to Council 'and on .r,.r`'
motion duly made and carried was accepted and ordered placed on file.
Whereupon the Treasurer's monthly report-was presented to Council and on
motion duly made and carried was accepted and ordered placed on file.
The Clerk then presented to Council the application.. of Safecray Stores Inc.`
for Off Sale License to sell-beer at 124 N A?sin St. Elsinore.

of the Safe~z&y Stores Inc. be approved end that they be granted ~,n Cff.Sa e
License tc sell beer at 124 N. Main St. v-hick motion upon vote was unanimously
carried. _
Thereupon he Clerk presented to Council a petition signed by a large
number- of_pr•operty owners of the: City of Elsihore.requestng that Council
repeel Sec, of Ordinance ~ 161 which provides for a license tax on all rentals
in the City of Elsinore.
Upon Councils consideration o+' said petition it gas moved by Councilman
Sheano and seconded by Councilmen Rice that the petition received be laid on
the table for future consideration, which motion upon vote was carried. The
Chair then reported to Council that algea in the Lake was again causing the fish.-
to die and that this condition would probably be correcte~? by blue-stoning the
Lake and that financial aid for this work had. been promised by the County Board
of Supervisors and the Clevelin Realty Corp. and requested that Council ta':e
some action on the matter.
!"'hereupon it c:as moved by Councilman Rice a.nd seconded by Councilman
Gallagher that it be authorized to have the Lake blue-stoned and that the City
assume not to exceed X100.00 of the exp nse and that Councilman Skeane be
appointed tc represent. the City in the work vahich motion upon vote was carried.
City Engineer p. R. Crane then presented to Council fer their approval,
Profile Piap ,~,~ §0 of the Lakeshore Drive Sewer.
"'hereupon it was moved by Councilman Skeane and seconded by Councilman
Rica that Profile Map i;= 50 of Lakeshore Drive se:aer be approved which motion
v.as carried by the folloeaing vote:
Ayes: Councilmen Sheens, Rice and Lovejoy.
Noes: Councilman Gallagher
Absent: Councilman Rdorton

Thereupon.the Chair reported to Council that the Golden Jubilee Committee
also the City Band had made requests for contributions From the City for the
50 year anniversary celebration to be held on July 2, 3, and 4th and for band
concerts to be given by the band during the summers months.

that it be authorized to contribute ~2§.00 tc t]ae Golden Jubilee Committee and
§.OO per work to the City Band untill further action c,as taken, ~hich motion
upon vote eascarried.
Thereupon it vaas moved by Councilman Sheave and seconded by Councilman
Rice that it be authorized tc transfers x;200.00 from the `:Water-Fund to the
Special Se~~er Fund which motion vase carried by the following vote:
Ayes: Councilmen Sheave, Rice and Lovejoy.
Noes: Councilman Gallagher.
Absent:. Councilman Morto.h.,
Upon requr:st of Councilmzn H. Gallagher the Chair appointed Councilman Sheave
to serve on-.the Auditing Committee.
Bills a.s audited by the auditing committee were then presented to Council
and;onraotion duly made<and on call vote carre@ v,ere ordered paid and"the Clerk
vies instructed tc.issue.warrants in payment of same.:...
- Councilman Gallagher voting yea on-all bills excepting the bills for labcr
on seu:,ers.
Thereupon there being no further business to come before Council on .mot ion
duly made and carried,' Council adjourned tc meet in r°gular seasion;:on Monday
