Thereupon the Clerk presented to Council a conunurxication °rom Jac1:.Green
requesting that he '-e a:-rard^d the Fire Insu*ance en the La. France Fire '1'rvcx,
i,o cover a renec~al of rolicy in the amount of "'3500 which will expire on Feb.

?hereupon it vdas meved by Councilman D9ortbn that Sack Green be av:arded
the Fire Insux•ance on the La France Fire Truck, policy tc be v;ritten for the
a..mowlt of s3500 and dated Feb. ~, 1933 v:hich motion upon note sae carried.
Thereupon the Clerk presented to Council the.vrritten opinion of City
Attorney Best concerning the levy of a tax to nay insta.llrnents of principal
and interest on the proposed City Hall Bcrds and in ~^~hich he states. that the.
Act under v;hich it ie proposed to issua these bonds r•eouires that a. tax be levied
for tl°:eir pa.yrnent. Ho~sever if other funds are availa:ole to pay insta.llr•:ents
oii the bonds failing-.due; it eras his opinion that the requirements that the City
levy a tax v,culd not be mandatory.
Guhereupen it ras moved by Councilman Gallagher anri seconded by Councilman
Skeane that the City Attorney's c+ritten opinion concerning a tax levy on tike.
proposed City Hall Bonds be received and ordex•ed placed on file =rrY;ich motion
upon vote was carried.
Thereupon Council took un for consideration the matter of street drainage
at the Amsbury Hotel, complaint having bs~en made that dater coming down !~ranklin
Street ~,:as flooding their property.
':'!hereupon it mras meved by Cowzcilman P;lorton and seconded by Councilman
Pico that it be authorized that street drainage on Franklin Street at P.msbury
Hotel be permanently repaired v!hich motion. upon vote was carried.
Thereupon Council took up for consideration the matter of fixing the
salaxy of the is'1 ection Board.
'1,'hereupon it vJas moved by C:ouncil.man Gallagher and s•°ccnded by Councilman
Skeane that the compensation for service en the election Board be fixed in
the sum of X1.00 plus one cent for each ballott caist, which motion upon vote
was carried. -

Ordinance amending Ordinance ;x201 fi;cing the salaries of city officials and city
appointees of the City of i"lsincre.

Thereupon Ordinance X21& ryas presented to Council c^. second rea.r'.irg bsi_ng an
Ordinance of the City ofNlsinore calling a_nd providing' for the rclding of a special
election to be held in the City of Elsinore on the '/th day of Feb., 1933 2nd submit-
ting to the a_uaiified voters of said City a certain proposition for the incurring
of bonded i_ndebtedaess for the acquisition, construction end. completion of a certain
municipal ir.~nrovement, tovvit:--The erection and construction of a City i-lall
building for municipal use.

Thereupon the Clerk reported to Council that it ~•ras Pv;r. A. v:. Ste=; art's request
that the credit of x;35 for the Burroughs Adding P:Iachi.ne be applied on his ~<ater
delinquency instead of delinq_uenti rental license.

A~torton that Air. Steuart bs a.1loe:ed credit on his ~.ater delinquency instead of
rental. license, which motion upon vote etas carried.
Bills as audited by the auditing committee sere then presented tc Counci.l. and
on r.:otien duly made and on ca7.1 vote carried -=ere ordc--,red paid and the Clerk c~as
instructed to issue eaarrants in payment of same..
Thereupon there being no further business tc come before Council on motion
duly r.:ade and carried. Council adjourned to meet in regular session cn P_Fonday
Feb. 13th at the hour of ~ o'clock P.A+,, in the City Hall the usual meeting place.
