A regular meeting of the City Council of ;the City of
Elsinore vaas held on the above date. The meeting yeas called
to order at the.hour of. 7:30 F.NI.. with iOSayor,E. C. !a'dickcrd -1n
the Chair.

Absent: None:
'` Pninixt®s of the previous meeting held on Dec. 10th tivcre
then read by the Clerk and there being no corrections or
omissions were approged as read.
Thereupon the`Clerk=presented to Couricil,a conuiunication
from the National;AUtomoble Club submitting-a claim on behalf
of their client, Carolyn Spaulding, foT ~p15.00 for damag®s
to her car as a_result of.driv3ng,over a defective:meter box
locate d. in front of the Ford Garage on;N?ain-Street.
Whereupon it was moved by Councilman 14iatch and seconded by
Councilman Smith that said communication be referred to the
City.:Attorney..which.motion upon :vote ,was carried..
Thereupon the Glerk:presented to Council"a communication
Prom the Los Angeles Brick Co, calling .attention to the unpaid
balance of X159.23 due them for sewer pipe and requesting thaT.
this account be paid in full before the end of this year.
'aThereupon it was moved by Councilman Sheave and seconded by
Councilman Smith that the Clerk be instructed to give notice
to the Los Angeles Brick Co. that the balance due them would
be authorized_:paid at the next meeting of the Council, which
motion°upon _vote -was--carried. ~ ~~-- ~ ~~- ~ ~ --
Thereupon the Clerk presented to Council a communication
from the Federal Emergency Administration to Public ':rPorl~s
stating that the loan and grant agreement on the City Hall
project as originally executed restricted the amount of cash
which could be paid on the grant and that waiver of certain
provisions of this agreement has been executed, thereby permit-
ting payment of cash in the amount of X3999.36 and that check
in this amount was mailed on Dec. 6th, the balance due in the
amount of w653.54 which payment must be effected by cancellation
of bonds, will be taken care. of as soon as possible.
whereupon it was duly moved and carried that said communi-
cation be received and placed on file.
Thereupon the Clerk presented to Council a communication
from N!rs. Anna Horton reporting that she has secured from 3~r.
Beach a price of X6.75 to cover the cost of repairing the broken
windows in the old City Hall building and requested that
Council authorizes to have said repairs made,

'v`Vhereupon it was moved by Councilman Roach and'seconded by
_Councilman Sheave that the Clerk be instructed ta,give notice to
Mr. 'Beach to make the-necessary repairs at the"old City'"Hall - -
Bldg, and to bill .the City for the cost of said work, which motion'
upon vote was carried. `

has an old ordinance which is in force and effect covering. drunk'"' ~

very much in`favor of enforcing laid ordinance.
~Jhereupon it was moved by Councilman Roach and seconded by
Councilman Matich that the Chief of Police be iiistructed`to'enforce
the City Ordinance covering the Disturbing of Peace, which motion
-upon vote was unanimously carried. ,_,
Thereupon it was moved by Councilman N:atich and seconded by
Councilman Smith that it be authorized to transfer from the '~Jater
Fund:~450'to'the 19'12 Sewer Bond'Fund'and $100 to"the Serial
Funding Bond fund which motion upon vote was`carried;
Bills as audited by the auditing committee were then'.
presented to Council and'on motion duly made 'and on ''c all'-vote
carried were ordered paid and the Clerk was instructed to issue
warrants it payment of same.

Thereupon there being no further'busineas to come before
Council on motion duly made and carried Council adjourned to meet
in regular session`'on Jan: 14th at the hour of 7:30 'P.Y~I. in `the
