A regular meeting of the Gity Council of the City-of Elsinore
was he13 on the move date. The meeting was .cal led to order at the
hour'" of 7:3D` F.IVi. with P,ayor N::hiatich'in' the Chair.
Councilmen: 'E. H Smith; 0. B. $heane, ~'. Li."Roaeh,'J. E.
dills,' and N. Pi~atich'answered the roll call."
.Absent: None.
b`anutes of the previous meeting held on June `24th were then
read by the Clerk and there being no corrections or omiss'r.ons were
.approved as`read.
Thereupon the Clerk presented to Council a commuaiciation from
r'rank W. Odiorne calling, to . pouncils attention that .the 4Jater IJieter
installed in front.;of the N•ord;Garaoe',had settled-:and being in the
driveway was causing a dangerous condition aid requested that same.
be repaired.
Whereupon it ~r%as moved by Councilman Roach and seconded by
Councilman Dills that matter 'be referred"to the street and`ti~ater
Commissioners with 'power to act, which motion upon vote was carried.
• j Thereupon the Clerk presented to Council the hibrary Boards
annual report for the"f3scal year ending June 30th, 1935 and their
tentative budget for the ensuing year.-
,, U'Vhereupon it was moved by Councilman xoach and seconded by
Councilman Skeane that the annual report and tentative budget of the
I hibrary Board be received and ,p aced on file for_flzture consideration
~ which wotion upen vote was carried.
Thereupon the Clerk presented to Oouneil the written resignation
of Vim. d. ittfelt as a member o~.the C.ity,Library, Board.
Whereupon it was moved by Councilman Mills and;secorided by
Councilman' Smii•h "that the `resignation" of I~vm. b"littifelt be :accepted
which motion upon vote was carried.
Thereupon the 'clerk read a `letter from the Automobile Club of
50. Calif. acknowledging receipt of the city's order for one reflector
sign and advising that same would be delivered and installed at
sight selected in about two weeks.
Yr'hereupon it; was agreed by Council .that Councilman 3heane be
.appointed to arrange for ;a suitable sight for the installation of
said .s'gn. ,
Vrhereupon the 'Clerk read a' letter 'from ' he r'Texible Sewer xod
equipment Go.' advising that tHe`spiraT tool reported misting was not
a part of the set purchased by the City and that the price of said
tool .was X24,.00, however that whey would rather give it. to the city
i than t;o have°a misunderstandingbut that it was not tha intention
that this too beincluded `in the set.
Vuhereupon it was moved by Councilman iV,ills and seconded by

Councilman Roach that the°Clerk be instructed to reply to'-this letter=!
and advise the r'lexible Sewer Rod Co. that it was distnotly under-
stood by the council that the spiral tool was to be included in'-the --
set of tools purchased, which motion upon,:vote was",~arried.-
i'hereupon the clerk"presented to Council a communication from
the 3:e ague of Calif. Nliinicipalities calling to Oouneils attention
that the City of Elsinore is not a member pity of the League and.
urging chat Council include in their budget".for"this year the sum of
~'p35.00 for membership dues.
Whereupon it was du ly moved and carried that said communication
be received and placed.. on £ile., ;. :
Thereupon the monthly report oS the ++ity"Trea Wren"~das~.pre5ented'"
to Council and on motion duly made and carried was accepted and ordered '
place d. on file.
Phereupon Ordinance X226 was presented to Council on first
reading being ari Ordinance amending ~rdinanee No. `161 of":the pity of ;'"
Elsinore.

Couneilman'KOaeh that Ordinance No. 22o be accepted as-read and
passed to its second reading which motion was carried by`the
following vote:'

Whereupon Ordinance No 227 was presented to Council on first
reading, being an Ordinance amending'Ordinance ivo. 223 'of the City
of kasinore.
d`dhereupon it'was moved by'COUnclman xoach and seconded by
Councilman Ieills that 'ordinance No. 227 be accepted as read and
passed to its second reading, arhich motion was carried by :'the
follovring vote: __

'Whereupon Oouneilman iy:ills "called. to Councils "attent on that .., . .
the ornamental street lights in the Country C1uti'Reights subdivision
have been out of service for a number of months, but were being'"billed'
and paid for each month and suggested hat if said lights _could not
be kept in 'service that action be taken to order that said lights
be disconneoted.
Whereupon it was moved by Nayor t~':atich and seconded by councilman
Sheane'tha', the matter oY Street`ligl7ts in Country Uliib Heights be
referred to the Street Commissioner with power to act, which motion
upon, vole was carried.

I to Council and o.n motion-,duly,made ,and carried were ordered paid
and the Clerk was instructed to issue warrants in"payment `of same.

Thereupon there being no further business to come before
Council on motion duly made and carried Council ad~odrned to meet
in regular session on yionday July Z2nd_.at the hour of 7:30 P.Ivi.
in the City Hal L the usual meeting place.
