Therefore Russ !~`ihite appeared before Council and on behalf of the 20-30 Club, requested that the City Council grant said Club the use of the City Ball Park on D,fonda;rs rnd Fridays of each week during the base-ball seasonstating +,h-~.t-their club is sponsor- ing the night ball games for this year and would provide t~ao games each z+reek during the su*amer season. i :thereupon it ~^~as moved by Councilman Pills and seconded by Councilman Perrei that ~ the :asinore 20-30 club be granted the use of the City Ball Park son `Monday a.nd Friday of each week during the base-ball season of this yeer,which motion upon vote was unanimously carried, Thereupon Councilman Mills reported to Council that he has received an offer from the Cleveiin Realty Corporation to sell. to the .City ornamental light standards at a price of X8.50 each. Upon Council's due consideration of said offer,it mas moved by Councilman ".ills and seconded by ,iouncilr~ary Perret that the Clerk be directed to notify the Cleveiin Realty Corp. that their price of $j8.50 quoted to_Council.for ornamental light standards is acceptable and that Counci], agree to purchase a quantity of light standards from them,the number as yet being undeter:nined,which motion trras carri~ad by the follo~ ing vote:- Ayes....CouncilrnPn Smith,Yerret;I:;tills and ,Idlatich: .
