Thereupon the Gierk presented to'CCuncil'the Ahrfual report of the Division of Highways covering the expenditures made=froiir"the one-quar+.er ceht fund by :kie ::^.epartment during the fiscal year ending June 30th 1938 for general maintenance of State Highv:ay Routes, ~7 and--"]$ v;i~thin the Gity of'1slsinore.- - ':7hereupen it I>as moved by Councilman (;:ill's and' seconded by Councilman ia`aby that said report be received and placed on file, r~krich mction upon vote ~<as carried. Thereupon the Clark presented tc Council a tabulation submitted by the Division of Highways sho:=ring the apportionment of the Cct, 30th 1°38, quarterly payment of the nrie-quarter cant gas tax allocation for Streets cf kfiaier Irnnortance the Gity nod Elsinore., being credited vaith X319.12 Sdhereupon it was-:duly moved and carried that said gas ta;; repot be received ant'. ordered filed, Thereupon the Clerk reported to Council that a check of the minute records, shows that former Councils have authorized the Fira Dept. to respond to fire calls from cutside the.City, subject to the discretion of the tiro Chief. Thereupon Gouncilma.r. Perret reported to Councilthat the ;Band-st:td in the City> Park leaks badly and suggested that it. be repairsd.,, i~ktereupon it v;as agreed by Council that the top floor be covered with roofing parer.
