I mending the City Council far adopting a resolution expressing their protest to

9hereupon it was moved by Councilman 3:iacy and seconded by Councilman Lovejoy
that said letters be received and file-d, vahicn motion upon vote eras carried.
The Clerk then presented to Council a letter from Lena Gallison expressing.
to each member of Council her sincere appreciation for th:;ir approval cf her
application For the positions of Gity 7Jater and License Clerk.

.which he advised. relative to the proposed zoning ordinance, stating that such an'
ordinance is authorized by State law under Deering ~,ct r~ 994 and submitted For
~ Councils study a copy of the Riverside Gity Coning Crdinance.
:'thereupon it was moved. by Councilman 'r.?ills and seconded by Councilman Tdacy
that said letter and. copy of Riverside Zoning Crdinance be turned over to the
Crdinance Committee for study, with request that they report on same tc Ccuncil
whin prepared to do so, which motion upon vote r•,ss carried.
Thereupon it :°~as moved by Gouncilruan D,Zills anr3 seconded by Councilman klacy
that bond i;o be furnished by tha Gity Judge be set at `1,OOO.OC which motion v.as
carried by the follot.ing vota:
