Hicks that in accordance m~ith the provisions of Sections 3897 and 3898 of the Political Code„ Chapter 396, Statutes of 1935, that claim must be made for theproportion of.pro.ceeds.due. the City from the--sale-o•f-the fol];oe?ing - - ------ described tax delinquent prop@rty: Lots 18 to 20 Blk $15 Smith's Add, to Elsinore, sold for ?$15.00 and that said claim must be filed on or before Feb. 5th 1939. ~ '"hereupon it was moved by Councilman Mac}F and seconded by Councilman Ferret that the City Clerk be dirodted to file the required claim twiththe County Auditcr for the City's. pro-rate share of the proceeds from sale of the shove described property, which motion upon vote was carried. Thereupon the Clerk presented to Council. the verefied claim of b?ele E. 'thereupon it was agreed by Council that~the Recreation Gommisaion be granted the free use of the Council Chamber., for holding their, meetings. Thereupon the Clerk presented to Council the bids submitted by several Public Accountants for ,making an audit,oT',the City's,.books,and,records andrupon Councils consideration'of same `it was agreed to defer taking :action `on the matter to ,some later date. ::_ } Vlhereupon..Bills in the amo~.nt of,~ as audited by.the-auditing committee ,: were, presented ;to ,Council and:on motion duly made; andon.,call vote-carried were „„ ordered paid and the Clerk v,as instructed to issue Gvarrants in payment of same.
