Thereupon the annual'frhnchise tax report of the`So, Calif. Gas Co, covering the year of 193, together with their ,check for $362,14 to cover-tax due, was presented to Council for approval and`acpeptance. '.9hereupon it was moved by Councilman PEills and seconded by Councilman Smith that the report and check of the So. Calif. Gas,. Co, be accepted and .that check ba deposited to the credit of the general fund,:_wnich motion upon vote v'as .carried. Thereupon the Clerk presented to Council a coamunica.ton frorn E. C.
