Whereupon it was moved by Councilman Mills and seconded by Councilman Lovejoy that said letter and copy of brief be received and ordered placed on file which motion upon vote was carried. Ther'64pbn the Clerk presented to Council a communication" from the Firemen's Insurance Co. acknowledging the receipt of the City's claim of 162.10 for property damage to a street light, resulting from an Automobile accident, in which the car of Coral M. Melanson, their assured, owner on Propest St, appeared before Council and reported that the alley north of Prospect between Chestnut St. and the alley east of Main St. was in bad condition and asked if Council could not order that same be graded. Whereupon Councilman Mills, Street commissioner ordered that Mr. Johnson, St. Supt. be instructed to grade said alley as soon as convenient. Thereupon the Clerk presented to Council proposals received in connection with furnishing engineering data for the proposed W. P. A. Projects as follows: D. R. Crane: Estimate for Engineering data on project for lowering water lines 155.00 proposed sewer project $40.00 and Baseball filed project $120.00. - III F.
