Thereupon the Clerk reported to Council that he was requested .by the ?plater and License Clerk to call to ••^,ouncils attention that tine old e etric fan used in the office is out of order and beyond repair and request that Council authorize that a new fa.n be purchased for use in the City Clerk :and Water and License Clerk's office. Upon Councils consideration of the matter it eras agreed that it may be advisable and possiTaly more satisfactory to first investigate if it would not be more desirable to install some sort of ventilating and cooling system in said office. 4'Ihereupon it was moved bar Councilman I!Iills and seconded by Council- ; man Macy that the matter of providing some sort of cooling system for the Clerk and 'hater Clerk's office be referred to Councilman Lovejoy, with authority to act on the matter which motion was carried by the following vote: Ayes: -- Councilmen: -- Lovejoy, P~'iacy, Ferret, P~4ills and T,4atich Tdoes:-- Sdone Absent:-- None Thereupon the Clerk presented to Council a communication addressed to Councilman Lovejoy by Ferbert C.
