Upon Council°s condideration of the mr-tter it was agreed that +,he situation be referred to the City Clerk for checking. Thereupon a cor.~ununication from Richard Graves, Executive Secretary of the League of Cali.fcrnia Cities w=s presented to Council in ~=;hich he submitted a stete- ment covering League dues fcr the year 1940, in the amount of ~o~ and advised that said bill is based upon the revised dues schedule adopted by tPa Lesgus Convention held izr =akland, Ssrtember 1939. fi'r.ereupon it was moved by Councilman TM`ills ~~nd seconded b7 Councilmen Perret that said bill be approved amd cor.~munication filed, uahich motion upon vote was carried. Thereupon a communication from R. D. Baumardner eras presented to Council advising that he represented a group requesting that the City Council forward a resolution to Supervisor Stanfield requesting that the County Board of Supervisors pass an ordinance requiring the use of mufflers on motor driven boats on ixake }ylsinore, except on Saturdays,. Sundays and legal holidays. between ~ AM and 7 PF4, • Thereupon it was moved by Councilman Perret that the Clerk be directed. to forward a letterto the Board of Supervisors requesting the adoption of an Ordinance regulating the use of motor driven boats on Lake Elsinore. The motion receiving no second was declared lost. Shereupon it was moved by Councilman dills and seconded by Councilman Macy that the communication from Baumgaadner be received end filed for the time being, which motion upon vote was carried.
