I~ Dlsinore be represented by a large delegation at this meeting.

I Thereupon the Clerk presentee. to Council a communieati are
from L.iI. NTcYenzie, addressed to T;'ayor T~,.atich, relative to the
proposed plan fo- the organization of a co-ordinating Council for
~~ the Elsinore Community and requesting that Council appoint one of
its raam~oers to serve on said Co-ordinating Council.

by Councilr;?an P~;ac;J that Councilman Perret be appointed to serve
as a member of the La'lsinore Co?nr.ut,ity Co-crdina.ting Co~zneil, which
motion upon vote alas carried,
Thereupon tYze chair reported to Council that he has
been interviewed by Colonel Pierce a high ranking official of the
~ State Guard for ts11S district, ?vb.o requested of him that as P,a~Tor
I of the Cite- of Elsinore .e appoint an L'lsinor•e Com:aunity Defense
I Committee, tc function as a local organization for the purpose
of providing v~rays and means of rendering financial aid to and co-
operating vrith the lo..^.al State Guard unit.

Councilman %~acy= be appointed to serve as a member of said Committee,

of the Southern California Gas Company for a Franchise under and
~ pursuant to the Proaisions of the Franchise Act of 1937, ~rrhici_
