Thereupon Ordinance X242 wa.s presented to Council on first reading, being an Ordinance of the City of Elsinore amending Section 2 of Ordinance #1?9 regulating the placing of signs in the Parking and sidewalk are as in the business district. Whereupon it was moved by Councilman N.tills and seconded by Councilman PJlacy tr. at Ordinance #242 be passed to its second reading, which motion was carried by the following vote: Ayes: Councilmen: Lovejoy, Macy, Perret, Mills and N`atich. Noes: None Absent: Tdone Vhereupon Ordinance #24:3 was presented to Council on first reading being an Ordinance of the Cit!r of Elsinore amending ?Section 19 of Ordinance ;r~161, repealing Ordinance j~239 and regulating bov^rlin; alleys. Z'~hereupon it :vas moved by Councilman Lovejoy and seconded by i Councilman Perret that Ordinance X243 be passed to its second reading, which motion was carried by the following vote: Ayes: Counc~.men: Lovejoy, Mac~r, Perret, Mills and biatich. IQoes: None Absent: Tdone Thereupon it was moved b~~ Councilman 1tTills and seconded by Councilman Macy that the Park Commissioner be authorized to pruchase the used power lawn mower from Is7r. Burnham at the quoted price of ?5.00 which motion upon vote was unanimously carried. Bills in the amount of ;~?1?.99 as audited by the auditing committee were then presented to council and on motion duly made and carried were ordered paid and the Clerk was instructed to issue warrants in payment of same. Thereupon there being no further business to come before Council on motion duly made and carried Council adjourned to meet in regular session on T~onday May 26~h at the hour of 7:30 P.M. in the City Ha11 the usual meeting place.
