'IVard in writing of the City Attorney's opiniion to the effect that the sign"sfie' installed at the corner of Main and Sumner Streets is in violation of the provisions of-City Ordinance~179 avid"that she be ordered to remove said sign at earliest date possible, which motion-upon vote was'aarried.' Councilman Lovejoy then reported to Council that he received x"10.00 from Nathan Rice, contributed for the N. h'ain Sewer. 5 Whereupon it vras moved by Councilman Mills and seconded by Councilman P+1acy that the X10.00 received from Nathan Rice be accepted and, deposited to the credit bf the general Fund, vah.ich motion upon vote was carried. Thereupon it was reported to Oouncil by Councilman i~~ills that complaint has been made to him against the Shell Gil Company for allow- ing greasy water to drain from their service station property and collect and stand on the sidewalk in front of the adjourning property. 'd~~hereupon it was moved by Councilman Mills and seconded by Councilman i:acy that the Clerk be directed to notify the Shell Oil Co. to take necessary steps to correct the condition. complained of by providing proper drainage at their service station, which motion upon i vote was carried. Bills in the amount of .",~200g.95 as audited by the auditiag co mmittee were then presented to Council and on motion duly made and carried were ordered-paid and•the Olerk was instructed to issue warrants in pa3anent of same. Thereupon there being no further business to come before Council on motion duly made and' carried Council adjourned to meet in regular session on Monday April 14th at the hour of 'J:30 P.M. in the City Ball the usual meeting place.
