MM :;_ , A motion made by He~iry perret, seconded by C.A.Lovejoy that the City Clerk execute the proof of loss and mail together with Directors Authorization-that the City accept„the adjustment-on fire-loss, T~Iotion carried,. ~ ~..... - - A communication from Rebecca Bracamonte, requesting a permit ;to have a ~7edding,party;and dance;on Nov. 15, 1942, at the Toymsehd Ha11. A motion by John Nills, seconded by C;.A.Lovejoy that the; application be denied and the-City Clerk-be,instructed - to write,a letter to ;that ef,fect,, Motion carried, A'report"that a verbal complaint; had -come in ,about-the_ dance at the Recreation Center on the night of Nov. 5th, 1942, ~ ehargingno Officer on duty, dancing after Midnight,: and Minors on the ;floor. A report made by Ernest Johnson,;,that.in connection iraith same, Nr. City Treasurers report read and motion by John Pllills, seconded by Henry Perret that Treasurers report be accepted and filed.. ri+fotion carried. It2otion°carried. A-complaint about the compliance of City', Street lights to the Dim Out Ordinance discussed. John Mi11s made a°motion``that the City Clerk` write to thee-California'Electric Power`Co: informing them that since the bracket lights are'the property'`oP the`E1ec.Cor and c4ntrolled'tiy them ''. Ernest Johnson is asked by''Council to'-see frank Rodrigues about !. taking garbage Contract for City and report back. 'IViayor Niatich instructed City Clerk to varite a letter' to the° CaliYornia~State Guard Co' B, Elsinore, and 'express the°appreciaton of the"Council and'-the Elsinore Police'Porce, Por their help on"Hallow- een night. Motion by Henry Perret, seconded by CA.Lovejoy, that bills be allowed and paid: b4oton carried. - - NPIlatich asks `that ~*ity Clerk 'write a letter to Temescal ti~later Co, , to repair Street 'and sidewalk on'ther property on Sumner Street,-Elsinore.
