A regular meeting. of the City_C;ouncil of-the City of.Elsinore
was held on the above date. The meeting was called to order at the hour,
of 7:30,P.P1~. with i_ayor.~,atich in .the chair.
Councilmen:-= C. ~. Lovejoy, Carl Peterson, Henry Per~et; J. E.
Il!?ills and 'N. Iiatich answered the roll call:
Absent: None
-Reading of- the minutes of-the-last regular meeting of Council
was-dispensed with..
I']hereupon -the 'Vater & License Clerks-•-monthly ,-report -was--presented
to Council, submitting a statement of_colleetions for tie month of tiiay as
follows.:

~'lhereupon it was duly moved and carried that .the report. of the
'J4ater & License Clerk be accepted and ordered placed on file.
°Thereupon the Chief of Police's monthly report vvas presented to
Council, submitting a statement of arrests made during the month of Il4ay
as follows:
For. VS.olation of City Ordinances 3
For Traffic Violations ~
?,'1he~~upon••~.t was duly moved and aarried that the report of the
Chief of Police be accepted and ordered placed on file.
Thereupon the Treasurer1s and Clerk's monthly reports were
presented..to Council, which on motion duly made andcarried,were accepted
and ordered placed on file.
Thereupon .the TreasurerTS and Clerk's monffily reports°were presented
to Counc~7, which on motion duly made and carried vrere accepted and ordered
placed on file.

'`Thereupon the Clerk presented to Council a report from the Temescal
~ `rVater Company, submitting a statement of their water withdrawals,. during,
the month_of Blay, from their Railroad:Canyon Reservoir, totaling 10,675 N1.L.D
or 1H27 Acre Feet.
';Vhereupon it was moved by Councilman Lovejoy and. seconded by Councilman
P,Iills that said report be accepted and ordered placed on file.

Thereupon the Clerk presented to Counoil a communication from Attorney
TJValter S. Clayson, submitting therewith a copy of the answer of. the Temescal Mater
Company .to Protest of City of Elsinore and Lake Elsinore Valley :Vater Users
Assn. to application No. 10309,. of the Temescal Water Company, no~~r pending before
the Division of water Resources of the State of California.

':'!hereupon it was moved by Councilman Lovejoy and seconded
by Councilman Per~et that-said ,copy of answer be referred to the
City Attorney for his attention, which motion upon vote yvas
unanimously carried.
Thereupon a communication from E. 2. Sullivan, District
Engineer Division of Highways,„--was presented Council submitting,.
thereuvtli for City, files a, copyof the; .final report of expenditure
made .bp the. State for preparing plans, specifications and, estimate
for improvement of ,.State Highway Route;~~77 from Langstaff Street
to the,west City limits in~the.Cz~ty.ofElsinore, said proposed,.,
improvement: bein Project,~,~7 of the memorandum of agreement for
expenditure of 1~1~ cent gas tax funds,-for State Highways,,..thework
to be done under the supervision of the State.>A egpy~of the plans,
specifications and estimate also being attached for city files.
TiJhereupon it was moved by Councilman AFills and seconded
by Councilman Peterson that said reports filed by the State Division
of Highways be accepted and ordered placed on file vrhich motion upon
vote Uras carried.
-Bills .in ahe,amount-of pT~70-.00-as--audited by the auditing
committee were then presented"to`COnncil and on motion duly made
and carried ~^rere ordered paid and the Clerk was instructed to issue
'Tarrants in payment of same.
Thereupon there being no further business to come before
Council on motion duly made and carried Council adjourned to meet in
regular session on-~:~onday,June -22nd at -the hour of 7:30 P.Pf. in the
City Hall the usual meeting 'place.
