Rho~l;es, Field Engineer ", for the Automobile Club of ;southern California wa"s presented to Council ;,in which he advised that the Allocation and Prioity Commission have jissued orders-that no metal is to be used for any type signs after !June 30th, 1942 and therefore they will discontinue the use of porcelain I~enamel signs until this order is revoked. He further advised that '4thsy.are now making tests of different type ;of material such as Plywood 4Plastie, Niasonite, etc., and in the near future will. decide upon a suitable sign to be used during the duration..
