Thereupon the annualFranchise Tax report submitted by'the ~~
Southern California'Gas Company, was presented to Council,'together with
:their cheek in the emount of ~363,y./~~^to cover Franchise Tax due for the
period from J;anuary_ 1st, lg~.l, o December 31-, 1gP,.1, .,
v'Thereupon"it was moved by Couricilman'..PerTet and seconded•.by
Councilman Lovejoy that`the Franchise Tax report of the Southern California
Gas Company be accepted and the_eheck,re.c.eved be deposited,to the credit.

Thereupon Resolution ;;3'71 was introduced and read., being a Resolution
of the City Council, Resolving, that deed dated February 10,'1942 executed
by_ C. R, Stibbens,.q,ounty,Tax Collector;, granting to the Ciay.of Elsinore
a municipal Corporation, All.oP Lots 2 and.3.n.Bloek 16, of the,Town•of
Elsinore, be"accepted.

Thereupon Councilman Lovejoy reported to Council that he has received
the following checks from property owYlers, contributed for sewer pipe laid
and used for the Silver Street Sevter,Improvement. ._ .

which:checks.on motion duly made and carried were accepted. and ordered deposited

Thereupon Council took up for consideration the matter of appointing
and Inspector;to supervise ahe work,of pouring concrete walls-:for the ;ewer
Pit being constructed under the•Sewer
Pumping rPlant. Contract . a~~rarded' to
Contractor Ross P.Sillard, -
~'dhereupon it ~5;as moved by pouncilman-Lovejoy and ..seconded by
Councilman Ferret that Engineer D; ~. Crane berappointed.>Ins~ector to supervise
the pouring of concrete at the City, Sewer Pumping Plant at.-a salary of w10,00
pet day, which motion upon vote was unanimously carried.
Thereupon A. H, Loyd appeared befor.e,Council and 'complaritd~of'receiving
an excessive water bill .and requested that Council authorize that a reasonable adjust-
ment be made of the matter,

It?ills that tY~e ";titer Clerk be authorized to correct P:ir, Loyds water bill on the basis
of a minimum charge, plus X1.00 to compensate for lost water 'as the result of a
leaky pipe, which motion upon vote was carried,
