A regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Elsinore m~as
held on the above date.. the meeting was called to order at the 'r~our of
'7:30 P.'". with iJiayor Ivatich in the-':chair.

e then read by the Clerk and there being no corrections or omissions,
e approved as read.

man L~~ills that the Clerks annual report be accepted,which motion upon
vote was unanimously carried.
Thereupon the Clerk presented to each member of Council his annual
report covering detailed statement of the Cityfs financial transactions
covering the period for the fiscal year from July lst 194? to June 30th
Thereupon Councilman Lovejoy on behalf of the Council members and

thereupon the chair reported to Council that Lena Callison has in-
ormed him over the telephone that she wised to render her oral
esignation as seater and License Clerk and City Judge, but had .stated
flat she ~+rould continue v~*ith her ~rrcrk until Council could arrange to
ppoint someone to fill 'per place.
',hereupon it was agreed by Council that action on said resignation
deferred until dirs. Callison returns a.nd files her tivritten resignation
Thereupon Council took up for consideration the matter of purchasing
t-~ro-way radio set for t'r~e city police car and upon due consideration of
id natter.
It was moved b;~ Councilman Tv=errifield and seconded by Councilman
ills that the Police Commissioner be authorized to purchase a t~°ro-tvay
radio broadcasting set for the City Police car, v,~nich motion a,as carried
~y the following vote:

Thereupon the chair in the absence of Councilman'=erret appointed
Councilman Lovejoy to serve on the auditing com~;ittee.
Bi11s in the amount of t~2317.12 as audited by the auditing co~.mittee
were then presented to council and on motion"du1~= made and carried were
ordered paid and the Clerk was instructed to issue svarran~ s in.payraent
of same.
Thereupon there being no further business to come befcre Council on
motion duly made and carried Council adjourned to meet in regular session
on Trfonday. Jan.lOth 1944 at the hour of 7:30 ~.N~. in"the City Hall the
usual meeting; place.
