A regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Elsinore
:ras held on t:-ie above d~i.te. The r~ieeting vvas called to order at the
hour of 7>30 P.i~-. with +~ayor ~!iatich in the chair,
Council~~~en: C.A.Lovejoy, Leslie Ierrifield, henry Ferret, J.E. s _. .
%=ills and N. vi.~tich answered the roll call.
Absent; None
P:rinutes of the last regular meeting of Council held on Oct, 25 th.
c~rere then read by the Clerk and there being no corrections or
omissions vaere approved as read..
Thereupon the `,'later and License Clerla monthly report ~5ras pre-
sented to Council, submitting a statement of collection in October
as follows:

';Thereupon it was duly n?oved and carried that the report of the
slater and License Cler:~ be accepted and ordered :?laced on file.
Thereupon the Treasurer's and Clerks monthly reports i°rere
presented tc Council and on motion duly made and carried Were
accepted and ordered placed on file.
~7hereupon it was moved by Councilman ?v~i11s and seconded by
Council:ra.n Zovejoy tY~at the sum of ~350.00~1be transferred from the
vaater fund to the In Lieu Tax Fund, v+ahich motion upon vote vaas
unanimously carried. -
Thereupon the Cleric reported to Council that l~,~a, Smith,
chairman of the'salaage coryeittee ilas issued a check to the City
in the sum of ~r1G9.74'ccv~ring the proceeds from the sale of
acc~.unulated. sal:%age.
'rt?hereunon it ryas moved by Councilman :.Tills and seconded by
Councilman Lovejoy that said check for =X149.74 ~'ro^: the Salvage.
Committee be accepted and deposited to the credit of the General
Fund, tFrhich r!etion u-~on vote was carried.

necessary equipment to repair the City's existing I=irnball Screti^a Pump
at T°iater ~ la_nt ;T2, the Clerk reported that but one bid !~*as received
and that-f.rem the lZimball-Krogh Pump Co.,whicri ovas ti~!en opened-and read.
the Kimball-Ilrogh Co,bid to furnish all necessary parts including
the pulling; of the old purip and installation ,of all neov equipment in
accordance ~^;ith t;.;e spEeifications filed for t-_e sum cf -;1384.:15 subject
to 3° cash discount, sales tax to be added,
?^~'hereunon it was moved by Councilman I~!i11s ar_d seconded ,by Council-
man Perret that the bid of the Kimball-Yro,^h .Pump Co, be accepted and
contract a~+~arded to the_. tc repair said pump. Subject ho;ever, to the
Cit;% bein~_: able to secure the required priority. ;",IYxich motion !~^ras

`Whereupon a com~,:unicatien from the I~'~etropolitan Casualty Insurance
Co, okras presented to Council, relative to their bond 5-25']52'7 issued
to the City in behalf of Arthur G. Barber, stating that since ?~r, Barber
is no longer employed by the City th,e~i v~~ere submitting Bond release and
cancellation form to be signed by the City and returned to them for their
files.
';?nereupon it ,vas moved b-,' Councilman P:'ills and seconded bar Council-
man Perret that the ~,iayor and City C1erh be authorized to sign said
release for and on behalf of the City; vvnich ~_otion upon vote vvas carried
Thereupon the layor reported to Council of his attendance at the
meeting of the Citrus Belt Branch of the Leauge of Calif. Cities, held>
at Chino and reported in detail on the main subjects of interest to
cities vaY.ich l~~ere ,resented and discussed at said meeting.

whereupon there being no further business to come before Council on
motion duly made and carried Cot:~nci1 adjourned to meet in regular session
on I~;;onday iv`ovember 22nd at the hour of 7:30 P.1•<^.. in the City Hall the
usual meeting place,
