A.J',Sterling has deposited with him the sum of ~90,OQ covering collections of'~10:00 each from nine'. individual property owners on Kellogg; Steet contributed;.; to cover cost of awwwer pipe required for, laying a sewer line on Kellogg Street between Sumner and Fottery Streets. l~~lhereupon it was mo ved by Councilman Lovejoy and seconded 'oy Councilman Itierrifield that the ~90.00~`be accepted of.the.General Fiund' and that the- street Commissioner be authorized to have ahe street graded and to proceed with the sewer -rock, which motion upon vote was carried . Councilman P~Zills then ,reported to Councl.that the.pump ~t the City 4Ne11 ~Z will have to be replaced, excepting the pump head and motor. T,'dhereupon it wq~s moved. by Councilman Lovejoy and secr.:_nded by.Gounelman Pv7errifield that the iVater commissioner be authorized to negotiate with Peerless Fump pivision of the Food.Iv7achnery,Co, for'~eplacement of the `required parts of pump at Nay, 2 vdell which motion upon vote:..was unanimously carried. '-' Thereupon Councilman Lovejoy reported to Council that the State Forestry Dept.. have requested that the nine blanket GVhich :they have. loaned to the city fob use in-.the- City Jail be :.returned as they novzhave need fo"r-them, ,, err~~mereupon, it .^~as moved by Councilman P~Ti11s and seconded bt* Councilman M ifield that the blankets in question be returned to the Forestry Dept, and that the,Cty Hall commissioner be auk:horiz:ed to purchase the s•equired number of :blankets needed-for-;the City Jai which motion upon vote ryas carried, Thereupon Resolution No. 395 was introduced and read by Councilman Lovejoy bring-,a resolutionof th:e City Cosine:l..urging the State-Board of L'qualization to adopt the required regulations to elimin-ate the-sale of Alcoholic beverages From Saturday night at midnight to 10 A.Itfi. Mondgy'and that a copy of this resolution be forwarded to the State Board,oi'.Equa1- ization. MINUTE RECORD OF ~'iLGULAR r'j_ETING CF TT. CITY COUNCIL MEETIIIG HELD OH THE l lth DAY OF OCTOB~ Is 4.3 4"~ ereupon it was moved by Councilman Lovejoy and seconded by Counc ~dan Mills that Resolution ~ 395 be passed and adopted as read which motion was carried by the foli.owing vote; Ayes: Councilmen: Lovejoy, 1=~erxifield, P:"ills, and l+iatieh Noes: None Absent: Councilman: Henry Ferret dills in the amount of ~267.7b as audited b y the auditing committee were then presented to Council and on motion duly made and carried svere ordered pai4 and the Clerk was instructed to issue -~'larrants of payment of same. Thereupon there being no further business to come before Council, on motion duly made and carried Council adjourned to meet in regular session on P.~Ionday October 25th, at the hour of 7:30 ~.sz. in the City Hall the usual meeting place. ayor
