Thereupon a cozamunieation from City Attorney Best was presented
Into Couneil concerning a proposed action against the Z.Ietropoltan i"dater
Disntrict and;advsirsg that: a meeting has been;:.`called° by-the Terris Valle;
jConservation District for Thursday June 24th, at .7:.30 P,S`. at the City
fIa11 in Perris to consider the matter and if the City of Elsinore is
i,interested, they are invited to send a representative.

! received;and that Councilman Lovejoy* be instructed to contact l+lr, Best";.

Thereupon acommunication from the~~County~Board~~of Supervisors vaas
~-presented to Council `in which"they advised that the term of'oPfiee of
ii•tha representative from Elsinore on the t2iverside County Defense Council
l expires on July 7th, 1943 and that it will be-necessary for`Counci3
~~Ito recommend to the Board of Supervisors, either the reappointment of
Councilman :Leslie b2errifeld ox `his successor and it'vaas-requested that
I Couneil submit their earliest convenience.

i~from Rai road :Canyon Reservoir foret3ie period from October 1" 1942`to
!LApril 3Qth","1943 and' t<was further reported "that the elevation of Lake
I~Elsinore_ on <~ilf8rch 31, 1943' iuas 1254,38 'f15. which- give"s the Temescal
i;l~Vater Co. the right. to divert 13500 acre feet-from the water of San
j~iJacinto river and Salt Creak in addition to its prescriptive waters of

man Pt~ierrifield that the City Attorney by instructed to notify the
Temescal water ~o:; that the City Gouncil protest the diversion of any
water from Salt Creek and also to call to their attention-that the paroe-
ment on Sumner and FIeald Avenues which they cut to lay pipeline across
said streets, as-yet have not been repaired and to make demand on them
to give this matter their immediate attention, which motion upon vote
was carx°ied,

Thereupon the-Clerk reriorted to Council the receipt of two checks Prom the
County. Auditor in the amounts of "~163.95'~and ~111.0i~"~to cover he pagment
due the City from ;the sales of `delnquent.~ax property; in; Elsinore.
`whereupon it was moved by council~aan Dills and' sconded by'Couricilman
ferret that said cheeks be acceptea and ordered depostited to the Credit
of. groper ;funds, which motion ::upon zrote was carried; . _ -"
Thereupon Ordinance ,,`252 was presented to Council on second reading
being an Ordinance of the Cites of Elsinore regualting the-'appearance of
minors on the .public streets,_highways, parks, and other places of the
.City of Llsinore,,,; . , : ,.
I'Thereupon it was moved bra Councilman Tni11s and seconded by Councilman
Perret that Ordinance No. 252 be passed end': adopted .as read, which motion *rras
carried by the following; voter _ ;,

Thereupon Ordinance it ;253, was presented to Council on second`readng
being an Ordinance o3 the;,~ty of Elsinore.regulating Publie:_Dances:and--
repealing all ordinances in conflict therewith.
,711ereupon it was moved by Councilman Lovejoy and seconded by Couneil-
maxtl~dills that Grdnance ;~ 253, be passed and adopted as'read which motion
