Supervisors, providing for the authorization 'of sale of certain t$g
aeliauent property, was presentad,to, Council..

~'b:ereupo a letter from City' At _orney Dugene Best was: prese,}~ted
to Council in which he advised that he has been employed b~:~ the Terris
T,Vater Conservation District to institute legal .proceedings against the
metrcpolitan dNater District to enjoin them from taking seepage vaater
coming-from t:ne San Jacinto tunnel, and that~a meeting is to be held

to considdr this matter, to v~hich representatives of other inter-ested,dis-
trcts"are invited to attend,"and if Council are interested in attending this
meeting, he would gladly inform them as to the time,. place, and date of

Thereupon a communication from Faulkner, Oakes and-Faulkner,^Jas pr®-
sented to Council in '~lhich they advised that advised that the? have a con-
tract this ,year with the Riverside County Grand-Jury to;,audit County
records and accounts, and if they can be of any assistance to Council

hereupon it was duly moved and carl•ied that said letter be: received
and ordered filed for future consideration,
2'hereupon a letter from Chief of Police, It•1r. Harmon,;,was presented
to Council in which Yee recommended to Council that it be author zed to
to have a restricted parking space painted out in front of Dr. Ryden's

whereupon it was dull moved and carried that this matter be referred
to the Street Commissioner,with authority to act on said ,matter.
Thereupon the Clerk :presented to Council, eopy,of Resolution passed
and adopted br the Count~,B`oard of Supervisorts relating o the furnish-
ing of public health ser`~rices to th£ City of Elsinore by. said County
covering the 1942-43 and;19.43-44 fiscal years.

Thereupon the'-Clerk presented to Council Notice received from the State

Thereupon the Clerk reported to Council the-receipt from County Auditor
of Check in the amount of ~723.38'^covering Tax Redemptions ~195.0z and Tax

Thereupon the Clerk presented'to Council a communication from the
Riverside Daily Rress togerher ~,viah a copy of letters addressed to
Anna L°-. Norton. relative to their 50th Anniversary Edition'to be
published commemorating the Golden Anniversary of Riverside Counter
and stated that this edition would not be-complete unless Llsi.n.ore
was represented and that they ~rrould be glad to meet urith the City
Council and representative of=the local Chamber of-Commerce to outline
t]3e manner in which E7si:nore may participate in this•Edton.

~'lsinore Leader Press, welcoming, the Dougl~~~s Aircraft Co. to Elsinore,
which motion upon vote was carried.
