iState Highway Division raae presented to Council, together with seven
,copies of application for certificate oP necessity of useof'betumiaous
goad material Por maintenance of all paved streets except State High-
!rrays in the City of Elsinore, submitted for Councils approval and ex-
I~ecution by the Street Superintendent.
! S~Jhereupon, it was `duly moysd. and carried that said application be .
~~~pproved and that the;-Street Superntendant be directed to execute.

I~j Thereupon the Clerk presented to Council notice received Prom the
Late Board of Equalization of their decision on the protest .filed to
!she issuance of a beer license to C.P, George, at the foot of Spring
treet in which they advised that it has been orderedthat said license

III! Thereupon the Clerk presehted to Council notice received from the
~~!!, County Auditor advising that certain tax delinquent property in the
I~; City of :,Elsinore has been sold and that claim-must ;be filed with; he
~i!County:-Auditor for the CityTs pro-rate.share of•the;proceeds.from sale:
~,~ of said property, not later than July 11th, 1943. ,
~ I'dhereupon it was„duly moved and carried that the,City Clerk be
'~~authorized to file said claim with the County Auditor for and on :behalf
l,of the City of Elsinore.

Electric RowertCo~~ was presented to Council, together with their check

Whereupon. it was moved by Councilman Perret and seconded by,Council-

credit of the General- Fund., whichmotion upon vote' was carrmed.

Thereupon a communication from Dr. i;Pe.rren Fox, County Health .Officer
was:presented to Council in which he reported on his investigation of
nuisance reported to exist at the C.L.`+Voodruff'Sanitarium and advised'"that
at his insistence, and further stated that it is"possible that Y~4r. Wood
ruff maintains a residence elseJvhere, as he could not locate any situation
at the sanitarium-which would f,t"the nuisance as. outlined-and P this is the
case,-he will be glad to investigate further-
Whereupon it was agreed by'Couneil that action on this matter be"d.eferred
until a further investigation is made of the property at the residence'of"
Pllr. ~Noa3ru~f.
Thereupon Lena'Callson, City Budge appeared before Council and,re-
ported to Council on action taken at a meeting he13 at Riverside, ~arhich
she attended and which was sponsored by a group oP interested persons
-from Riverside County for the purpose bf considereiig the current de-
linquency of minors and proposing a uhiform and, general youth correction
program, throughout the County: '- - -

to investigate the advisability of preparing an ordinance to properly`

Thereupon Ordinance X251 was introduced and ~resented`to.Couneil
on :first reading being an-Ordinance of the City of-Elsinore, regulating
the turning on of Gas.
thereupon it 'was moved-by Councilman Lovejoy and seconded by.Council-
man Mills that Ordinance-;~ 251'be passed to its second reading which

Thereupon Resolution ~' 388 was introduced and read bring a Aesolut
of the City Council of the City of lsinore approving IVlemorandum of
Agreement for the expenditure of w dent gas tax allocated for Mate
Highways for the 191~3-45 biEnnium.
I~Ihereupon it was moved by Councilman tyiills and seconded by Council-
man Lovejoy that Resolution ,4388 be passed and adopted as read, t~hieh
motion was carried by the following vote;
Ayes: Councilmen: Lovejoy, S~ferrifild, Perret, t4ills, and ~'Iatich
Noes: None
Absent: ATOne
Thereupon Councilman Lovejoy reported to Council that he has in-
terviewed Per. John S. Green relative to his deliquent business License
Tax and that as a result 5.~. Green has made payment of 35.00 to apply
on his deliquent account.
Bills in the amount of ;1917.7? as audited by the auditing commit
then presented to Council, which on motion duly made and ca~tried
ordered paid and the Clerk was instructed to issue warrants in
nt of same.
Thereupon there being no further business to come before Council
motion duly made and carried Council adjourned to meet in regular
ssioh on l~Yonday June l~.th, at the hour of '7:30 P.It~~. in the City Hall
