Whereupon it was moved by Councilman Merr3fie3d and seconded by Council- man Perret that the matter h.e"referred to the City Attorneywith instructions that he draft the proposed Ordinance as suggested and -thaf;a coirnnunication be forwarded to the Gas'Co, advising them that Council agree-to pass and adopt the ordinance proposed by them providing tp.at,they agree to assmme the expense of publishing;~the ordinance which znotion:upon,vote was carried.
