who are obliged to travel over said street,

Thereupon the Clerk presented to Council notice received from

Beverage.Destrbuting Co. has applied Eor a transfer,of hi Baer and'

in which she reported'-that at"=the last meeting-oY the"ti'eague a Resolution
-was passed. and adopted which provided .that all .Cities deny the demand

to Council in ;"Thick they submitted a statement of their twater withdrawals
from their Railroad Canyon-Reservoir'dizring'the months of `December', Jan-

', Thereupon a eommuriieation -from"the County Board of Supervisors eves
presented to Council in which they advised that contract entered'. into-"
I with the County providing that County Health Officer, act and render
health services for t}ie City has expired on June"30th, 194:.^2 and suggested
to Council it it is their` wish that these services=be coxitinued, they
pass a resolution authorizing an extension of said"eontract from June 30th
~, 1942 to June 30th 1943 and further suggested that -said Resolution also
I .provide for a further extension of said contract for the. next fiscal year
from July 1, 1943 to `June`-30th, 1944.
tRThereupon t was 'moved -by Councilman Perret and seconded by Counclffian
' Lovejoy, that=the Clerk be autISorized'-to prepare tYie required Resolution
to provide for a renewal op Contract with the County covering health
services"`to`the "City. for. period=from July lst, 1942 to June 30th', 1943
and to°also provide"for 'an extension-of said=contract for--the next fiscal
year from July 1st, 1943 to June 30th of 19ta'4 which moton•upon vote >
was carried.

Thereupon Councilman"•Perret 'reported-to Counci•T -that the Republic
;_ - , ~ Pi~tures"Ine.';have requested that they be"granted"permission to'izse Lake-

making pictures. `
Upon'Coun~ls cons"ideration ot'the,-matter ~t was`agreed~=by Council
that the•matter be""=referred to Councilman Perret." Park'Gommissioner, "'

G'ahereupon Councilman Perret also reported'to bouneil that an army
Officer from Gamp"Haan has applied for"'permission to use the"City,
' Ball Park on April"17th""for encampment purposes and'upon Councils con-"
' F sideration of the matter it was agreed that said permit be granted.
Bills in'th•e Amount of ~1305.03.as'audited^by the auditing committee
.were then presented to Council and "on<motion duly made"and carried were
ordered paid and the clerk was instructed to`-issue-warrants ir_payment-

Thereupon there being no further business to come before Council
on motion duly made and carried Council adjourned to meet in regular
