Professor Hartman of the (High School was present, and immediatel~r~vent in a huddle with the dis- ~cussion of the ball park. It being discussed pro and ecn for some time finally ending krith the appointment of Councilman Cooper app©ioted to"ac ,with Zafron IIartman, and to proceed along likes most beneficial to all ~;;eoncerned. iliinutes of last meeting ~+rere read and approved. Councilman Bert Cooper was also appointed to act as committee of one to act as City Council representative with the Chamber of Cor~nerce. Bills and communications was read and approved. i A communication was read from Chief Harmon to the effect that One regular Policeman be added to the Police Force owing to the increase of vandalism and crime that our present force was inadequate to cope vaith same. After due discussion the Council voted to act on Chief Harmo~Ts re- quest and add one regular policeman to the City-s Police Force. There being one application for the: new appointed job being one Car V. Tesehan who has been acting f. or some time as extra or Special Police. Pdotion by Councilman Goodcase seconded by Councilman T+aood that one regular policeman be added to our force. P~Ioticn carried. Carl V. Tesehan being appointed to fill the newly created vacency. City 4°Iater Clerk ~e&d and approved. 1?otion by Councilman Puerrifield seconded by Councilman Cooper the report be accepted. P;~otion carried unanimously. City Clerk and City Treasurer reports were read.
