A regular meeting of`the G y Council oP the City oP Elsinore
was held on the above date:~he meeting Uras called to order at the
hour oP 7.:30 with Mayor Maticl~`in theehair:
Councilmen: Leslie Merrifield, Clyde Longe,Vernon James and
Mayor N~viatiek answered rollcall

Minutes of the last regular meeting oP Council-held on October
read by the clerk and there being no corrections or omissions were

. _ A communication Prom board oP~County ~~upervisors was read imfor
the City that Ordinance no:~517 had been passed creating-a Ri.versi.de
Disaster Council.+Seetion 2 of the Ordinance designates that the
chairman of each oP the incorporated Cities di aster Council shall
a member of this Council:
Whereupon it was moved by Councilman James and seconded by
Councilman Zonge that the chairman of the Elsinore disaster Council
authorized to attend these meeting at his own.e~ienae,whieh motion
upon vote was ~`d carried

Thereupon a communication was read ern a radio checkup in the
City and surrounding valley=
Whereup~ lt.i~a~s moved by Councilman Longe and seconded by
Councilman Merrified that this communication be turned over to the
chamber oP Commeree~hich motion upon vote was carried:

Whereupon it was moved by Councilman Merrifield and seconded by
Councilman Longe that Councilman Chas~aubenberger be given permission
to leave the State and be absent Prom the Council meetings untill Deer
12th1945' Which motion upon vote was carried
Whereupon it was moved by Councilman. Merrified seconded by

street connection to sewer in City streets would have tee see that they

Thereupon Councilman James reported that speeding had let up
some on Graham,an.d Heald Avenues but better resulds should be had by'
a'little more checking up by City Police':

Thereupon Mayor,~atick reports that he had Qontaeted the
Auditor and he would be here with a Yew days and audit the City books
up to date`s t

Bills in the amount oY 1,'855.46 as audited by the auditing
committee were then presented to Council:and on motion-duly made and
carried were ordered paid and the clerk was instructed to issue
warrents in payment oP same:
