' Motion ,carried., and so_ordered;. °" A cominucation was read from.the'Chamber OP'"Commerce asking for a donation of $ '75.00''as the City+s portion of defraying the expenses of the Elsinore Valley Water Protective Assoaation. It being brought out the City cannot make donatlOn9~ but if a bill is presented the City then can pay the said ammount. vMr. D. B. Himebauch was present he Ming the owner, manager of the Carnival that had been in question for some weeks asking for a concession for some six months during the Summer Season. ' As the City has no Ordanenee-covering time concessions He ' was asked to present the kind, and number oP his°rides, stands,aad different concessions to be taken up with the Gity Atty.and see if a City Ordanence could be worked out on a monthly basds. The Gity now has-only one. Ordanence covering Garnivals,it only covering daily rates. A commuoation was read from the Division Of Highways pertaining to egperditurea of the 1/4 Dent gas tax for State Highways securing to the City Of Elsinore ending June 30th. 19y.7 was in ~ a triplicate form agreement. Motion by Merrifield see by dames that City Mayor Matich, and City Clerk be instructed to sign agreement as presented. Motion carried, and so ordered. Police Chief Harmon reported on the Police Red Light. Motion by Goodease see by Longe that Clerk write represenative of both the Telephone, and Electric Power Co. to work in eonneetiom with Pollee Chief , and install Police Red Light on the Stewart Bldg. Motion Carried , and so ordered. Cityts Clerk, and Cityts Treas. report$ was read Motion; by Merrifield sec by, James, that as as read. Motion carried, and so ordered. Cityts weber & License report was rasa as oY April.
