DAY of October 19 46,
A regular adjourned meeting of the City Council of the City of Elsinore was
on the above date. The meeting was called to order at the hour of 7:30 P,M. with
Tarpley in the chair.
Councilman: T.J. Hudson, Fred Penrod, Thomas Yarbornugh and N(ayor Tarpley
roll call.
Thereupon the Clerk read the minutes of the October 11th meeting and there
no errnrs or ommissions were approved as read.
Thereupon the Clerk read a letter from the Riverside County Flood Control
water conservation district informing the City Council that they now could clean
tdarm Creek within the City limits if the Council would authorize said work.
[dhereupon it was moved by Councilman Yarborough second by Councilman Hudson
the Riverside County Flood Control and Water Conservation District Zone Three be
prized to clean out Warm Greek channel running through the City of Elsinore, which

Thereupon the Clerk read Ordinance No.t296 for its first reading, an Ordin-
amending Ordinance No. 292.
Whereupon it was moved by Councilman Penrod second by Councilman Yarborough
at Ordinance No. 298 be passed to its second reading which motion was carried by the
llowing vote.

Whereupon it was moved by Councilman Hudson second by Councilman Yarborough

Main Street to 129 So. Spring Street. (Lot 5 Blk, 17) which motion upon vote was

Whereupon it was moved by Councilman Yarborough second by Councilman Penrod

Thereupon the Clerk read Resolution No. 540 a resolution employing William.

ordinance declaring soliciting for rentals at the bus depot and three hundred feet
therefrom unlawful.
Whereupon it was moved by Councilman Yarborough second by Councilman Penrod
Ordinance No. 296 be passed and .adopted as read and Clerk instructed to publish
in the Elsinore Leader-Press once, which motion was carried by the following vote.

Thereupon the Clerk read a report Prom the Dept. of Public Health on the.

Whereupon it was moved by Councilman Yarborough second by Councilman Penrod
Ordinance No. 21 be amended so as to legally widest East Graham Ave., from Main
t to Fifty feet East of-Alley and Clerk instructed to have same drawn up, which
n upon vote was carried.
Whereupon it was moved by Councilman Yarborough second by Councilman Hudson
the Street Department be authorized to remove five trees on East Graham so as to
said street, which motion upon vote was carried.
Thereupon the Clerk read a letter from the State Disaster Council stating
they had .received the City's disaster Ordinance but to become an Accredited Disas-
Council, would have to adopt a Resolution to that effect.
Thereupon the Clerk read Resolution No. 541 a resolution setting up the
forms to become an accredited Disaster Council.
Whereupon it was moved by Councilman Yarborough second by Councilman Hudson
Resolution No. 541 be passed and adopted as read and Cleru .Sslt~ttioted to mail two

Thereupon the Clerk read Resolution No. 542 and an option to Mr. E.D.
tterson giving him an option to purchase city property facing Graham Ave, between

Thereupon the Clerk read a Resolution from the County Board of Supervisors
which they had adopted calling for a public hearing on the proposed formation of a
consolidated Park and Parkway District within the boundaries of the Elsinore Union
School District. Date for said hearing set for the $th day of November at 10:00 A.M.
in the Chambers of the Board of Supervisors in the County Court House, Riverside.
Said Resolution ordered filed.
Z~Thereupon it was moved by Councilman Hudsom second by Councilman Penrod tha
as it had been reported that there was no stop sign on the East side of Main Street at
intersection of Peck and Main Streets, Street Supt. Harmon be authorized to put a stop
sign at the proper location, which motion upon vote was carried.
Whereupon it was moved by Councilman Hudson second by Councilman Yarborough
that the meeting adjourn to meet again on Monday October 25th at the regular time and
place, which motion upon vote was carried.
