City of Elsinore was on the shove date. The meeting was. called to order at the hour of q:30 P.M. with Tarpley in the chair. Councilman: T.H. Hudson, Wm. R. Morton, Fred Penrod, Thomas Yarborough and Tarpley answer roll call. Thereupon the Clerk read Resolution No. 51tr, a resolution rescinding action of Lution No. ly21, application for water project and authorizing the-refunding of .00 paid by the State under Chapter 47 Statutes of 1944• Whereupon it was moved by Councilman Hudson second by Councilman Morton that ~n No. 514 be passed and adopted as read, which motion was carried by the vote. Whereupon it was moved by Councilman Penrod second by Councilman Yarborough th lution No. 515 be passed and adopted as read. Which motion was carried by the .ovine vote. City known as local agency having funds available for its half of cost, also designating James A. Tarpley Mayor as the authorized agent for al agency. Whereupon it was moved by Councilman Yarborough second by Councilman Morton t Resolution No. 516 be passed and adopted as read, which motion was carried by the lowing vote. Bulot Engineer. Crane as resident Engineer for said improvements, and authorizing City Clerk and Mayor to sign said agreement. Whereupon it was moved by Councilman Yarborough second by Councilman Hudson that Resolution No. 517 be passed and adopted as read, which motion was carried by the following vote. Whereupon it was moved by Councilman Hudson second by Councilman Morton that Resolution No. 518 be passed and adopted as read, w hick motion upon vote was carried the following vote. Whereupon it was moved by Councilman Morton second by Councilman Yarborough tl Councilman Yarborough Street Commissioner be authorized to investigate as to the cost of proper equipment for patching and laying blacktop material, which motion upon vote was carried. Thereupon the Clerk read a letter from a Rachel Bueal requesting water to be piped to their property on Highway 395 North part of City. Was told that they would have to pay cost of all but 100 feet and to contact water Superintendent Harmon. Thereupon the Clerk read a letter from the (Rt. REV.) F.A. Howard Buck representative oY the Elsinore. Recreation and Atheletic Club bein presmgt at this time spoke to the Council as to their part of the City all year Recre- ation program. They would operate the City Ball Park and schedule all games and programs but still leave the Park under control. of the City Council. Whereupon it was moved by Councilman Morton second by Councilman Yarborough that the Ball Park be turned over to the Elsinore Recreation and Atheletic Club fora year round program, they to keep Park up and that the Deputy City Attorney draw up a I~I revokable license to be read next meeting, which motion was carried by the following i~ vote. ~I! This matter referred to Maintenance Supt. 'thereupon it xas moved by Councilman Morton second by Councilman Penrod that the Business Mens Ass+n. be granted permission to_hook up.a loud speaker at the City Park for their Wednesday drawings, which motion upon vote was carried. Whereupon it was moved by Councilman Yarborough second by Councilman Morton th the CaliY. Electric Power Co. be requested by legal notice to change location of Stree ~ lights to be installed on South Poe Street.
