as there were no res+rictions on the amount of water ~.tsed they would be furnished
water thxrough a meter, the same as other water users. In case of a water shortage
pools would be denied water first. st.~~ich motion upon vote eras carried.
Thereupon the Clerk read Ordinance Ido. 330, for its first reading. Arr Ordin-
ance adopting the Uniform Plumbing Code 1y50 edition as the PhmiUing Code of the
Gity of Elsinore.

that Ordinance No. 330 be vassed to its second reading. ~4hich motion was carried
by the following vote.

Thereupon the Clerk read Ordinance Pto. 331 for its first reading, an Ordin-
ance regulating Taxi Cab drivers, and requiring them to obtain a permit from the
Police llepartment.

the Attorney be authorized to dratir up an Ordnance to allow no trespassing or
loitering at or near any City owned canter storage reservoirs, or maintenance
yards. i~rhich motion upon vote was carried.

the Clerk be authorized to purchase window stickers for trucks having city license
in 'lsinore to show that license has been paid. Twlrich motion upon vote was carried.
Thereupon the Clerk read Resolution Ido. 630, a Resolution appointing
Robert 3oodwin as a regular Police officer and setting salary of said position.

the Clerk be authorized to purchase 1000 garbage tags for the garbage dept. said
tags to be kept in the Clerks office and issued. as needed. 'Thick motion upon vote

Thereupon the Clerk read Resolution ido. 631, a resolution increasing the
salaries o£ Val Thrithart , and Raymond Carman from ~ 175.00 per month to ~$ 200.00
per month.
Thereupon it tans moved by Councilman Farber, second by Councilman Hull
that Resolution No. 631 be passed and adopted. lhich motion upon vote was carried.

that the Police Dept. be authorized to purchase traffic violation citations as

Thereupon it was ruoved by Gotmci-lman Farber, second by Councilman 'Davis
that the Clerk be authorized to purchase a bond redemption book as requested by
ii. C. Scott City `Preasurer. dhich motion upon vote was carried.

that proceeding in the matter of the annexation as outlined by Resolution 626
and 627, be discontinued, and the ~aatter dropped. }idhich motion upon vote was

Sargent A. G. Harber, be granted a vacation starting Au{;ust 16, 1950. Which motion
upon vote was carried.

activities of the Police i)epa~tr!ment for the month o£ July, 1y50
?thereupon it vaas moved by Councilman Bull, second by Councilman 'Davis
that the '.?ater ilept, be authorized to purchase an additional pickup one half ton
truck from the Lakeside Chevrolet Co., at a cost of > 525.00. 34hich motion upon
vote was carried.

that the report of the City Clerk and City Treasurer be accepted and ordered filed.
