Z9 51 L O MINUTE RECORD A regular meeting oP he City Council of the City of Elsinore-was held on the above date. The meeting was called to order at the hour of 7:30 P. M. with Mayor Washburn in the chair. Councilman S. Farber, R. Hull, R. Macy and Mayor.Washburn answered roll call. ~ Councilman J. Tavis absent, i Thereupon the Clerk read the minutes of the. previous meeting and there being it no errors or omissions, were approved as read. ~ Thereupon Clerk read the minutes of the Planning Commission Meeting. Thereupon R. Claxton,Chairman of the Planning Commission, asked the Council i to meet with the Planning Commission without further delay, to discuss the rezoning problem. Thereupon the Council agreed to meet informally Saturday, January 27th, 1951 at 1:30 P. M. to discuss the above matter. ~ Whereupon it was moved by Councilman Farber, seconded by Councilman Hull, that resolutions 650 to 664, excluding Resolution 663, be passed and adopted as read. Motion, upon ate, was carried. Whereupon it was moved by Councilman Hull, seconded by Councilman .Farber, that the Clerk draw up Resolution 665 as follows: That Officer C. Hayman be promoted to the rank of Captain and his salary shall be ~220.OO per month, effective February 1, 1951. Motion, upon vote, was carried. Whereupon it was moved by Councilman Hull, seconded by Councilman Macy, that the Clerk draw up Resolution 666 as follows: That 0£ficer R. Goodwin be promoted to rank of Sargent and his salary shall be X215.00 per month, effective February 1, 1951. Motion, upon vote, was carried. Whereupon it was moved by Councilman Hull, seconded by Councilman Farber, that the Clerk draw up Resolution 667 as follows: That A. W. Nortin~s appointment as Building Inspector be made permanent, effective this date, Motion, upon vote, was carried. ~ G+lhereupon it was moved by Councilman Farber, seconded by Councilman Macy, that the Clerk drzw up Resolution 668 as follows: That Police Matron Hartman be put on monthly salary of X100.00 and said salary to b e retroactive as of January'15, 1951• Motion, upon w te, was carried. Resolution 663 was tabled until next meeting. Mayor Washburn gave a brief resume of Disaster Council Meeting held in San Bernardino,. which he and other city officials attended. Whereupon it was moved by Mayor Washburn, that the City Attorney be notified that it is the wish of the City Council that he codify and general index the City Ordinances and resolutions. Motion withdrawn for lack of second.
