A regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Elsinore. was held on it
the above date. The meeting was called. to order at the hour of 7:30 P.M. with ~~
Mayor ~rTashburn in the chair. ill

Councilmen S. Farber, R. Hull, R;. Macy, J. Tavis and Mayor Washburn answered III
roll call. ,

Thereupon the clerk read the minutes of the previous meeting and there being l
no errors or .omissions, were approved as read. ~,i

Thereupon P~Iayor Washburn stated being the hour of 7:30 P.M., the bids for ~ ~
City Reservoir Roof be opened. III

[,thereupon it was moved by Councilman Farber seconded by Councilman Hull that
the Reservoir Roof and Sewer Bids be held over to Thursday, February 15, 1951 at
7:30 P.M. an adjourned meeting £or further discussion. Motion, upon vote, was
carried.
Mr. Moores business application was held over until Health Officer arrived
to inspect premises.
Whereupon it was moved by Councilman Farber, seconded by Councilman Hull,
that the Dodge Fire truck be tuned up and scratches be repainted, also the Fire
Chief be allowed the following purchases: 2 Flashlites, complete, 50 feet of 2inch
rope and bundleaof rags. Motion, upon vote, was carried,
Whereupon it was moved by Councilman Hull, seconded by Councilman Farber
that the police chief be allowed to purchase four 6~ x lb, six ply tires for
the police car and that two shall be placed immediately on police car and ways &
means be found to add more weight to the rear end of the car. Motion, upon vote,
~~ was carried.
~~ ~rlhereupon it was moved by Councilman Hull,seconded by Councilman Farber that
~6i .four street brooms be purchased. Motion, upon vote, was carried,

Thereupon it was moved by Councilman Tavis, seconded by Councilman Hu tha
(~ Defense Council be allowed $25.00 for expenditures. Motion, upon vote, was carried.
whereupon it was moved by Councilman Hull, seconded by Councilman Macy, that
a 10° pressure guage be purchased. Motion, upon vote, was carried.
Whereupon it was moved by Councilman Hull, seconded by Councilman Tavis, that
the Fire Department fix a metal ladder to the La France Truck. Motion, .upon vote
was carried.

~ the City Clerk draw up resolution no. 669 approving the proposed amendment of j I
Section 9 of Sub-Section 12A of the Riverside County Flood Control Act and be ~'
passed as read. Motion, upon vote, was carried.
Whereupon it was moved by Councilman Tavis, seconded by Councilman Macy-that i
the bills be paid as audited by auditing committee and warrants be drawn nn same. III

Whereupon it was moved by Councilman Tavis, seconded by Mayor ?9ashburn, that
there being no further business the council advourn until 7:30 P.M. February 15,
1951. Lotion, upon vote, was carried.
