MEETING HELD ON THE 15th
DAY OF. February

An adjourned meeting of the City Council of the City of Elsinore. was held on
the above date. The meeting was called to order at the hour of 7:30 faith Mayor
t9ashburn in the .chair.
Councilmen S. Farber, R. Macy, J. Tavis and I~layor "v~ashburn answered roll
call. Absent Councilman R. Hull
~+Thereupon it was moved by Councilman Farber, seconded by Councilman Macy that
the minutes be dispensed with until mext meeting. Motion, upon vote, was carried.
Pending the discussion of Mr. Currie and Mr. `Willis Hall concerning the
Reservoir Roof Blueprint plans, it was suggested the bids be dispensed with until
a later meeting.
Thereupon Mr. Currie explained the advantages o£ his plan for construction
of the outfall sewage treatment plant and remodel pumping plant. Letters from
Health department, Etc. and specifications to be mailed by Mr. Currie to this
office for filing.
``>Jhereupon a motion by Councilman Farber, seconded by Councilman Tavis that
the bid suggested by Mr. Currie be awarded Bebeck & Brkich in the amountof
X109,950.00. Motion, upon vote, was carried by the following vote:
Councilman Tavis Yes Noes: One
Councilman Macy No
Councilman Farber Yes Absent: One
Mayor'tdashburn Yes
Thereupon PSr. Currie 'r"ecommended that the council let the contract be awarded
Bebeck & Brkich on Item No. 1 of their bid in the amount of X109,950.00.
6+Ihereupon Councilman Farber moved, seconded by Councilman Tavis, to resend
the previous motion. Motion, upon vote, was carried.
'r~ereupon,;.;a motion by Councilman Farber, seconded by Councilmah Tavis, that
the council accept Mr. Curries recommendations to let bi^i: to Bebeck & Bekich on
Item No. 1 of their bid in the amount of x$109,950.00 and the Mayor be instructed
to enter into a contract to be approved by the city attorney. Motion, upon vote,
was carried by the following vote:

Councilman Macy No
Councilman Farber Yes Absent: One
Mayor 'Washburn Yes
City Clerk to call Bebeck & Brkich in the morning.
Thereupon it was suggested that Mr. iaillis Hall re-design the reservoir roof
plans and issue alternate figures on same at a later meeting. Mr. Hall has a set
o£ Blueprint plans and will meet with the councilmeh at an adjourned meeting".
Mr. Moore inquired as to why his Business License was withheld. Since
Councilman Hull was delegated to bring in a report on same, it was suggested they
wait until they hear from him.

Councilman Tavis interviewed Mr. Biddle's condition through Mr. Biddle, also
his doctor, Dr. Baer. Dr. Westphal was also consulted and found out that it was
impossible for hir. Biddle to work until his insurance company releases him.
9hereupon a motion by Mayor Washburn, seconded by Councilman Tavis, that
Councilman Macy and Mr. Allensworth be authorized to rum 2" pipe from corner of Poe
and Minthorn Sts. and on i~tinthorn to Councilman Macy's property. Macy and Allens-
worth are to purchase and string the pipe, the city is to makeup and connect it.
Dlotion, upon vote, was carried.
Mr. Currie indicated in conversation that due to the city~3s~.financial
condition, he would acce;ot his fees during two tax years.
~4hereupon it was moved by Councilman Macy, seconded by Councilman Tavis, that
thererbeing no further business the council adjourn until 7:30 P.M. February 19, 1951•
Motion, upon vote, was carried.
