I I A regular meeting of-the City Council of the City bf Elsinore was held on ~
~ the above date. The meeting was called to order at the hour of 7:30 P. M. with i
Mayor Washburn in the chair.
Councilman S. Farber, R. Macy, J. Tavis and Mayor Washburn answered roll call.
R.-Hull absent. ~~
Thereupon the clerk read the minutes of the previous meeting and there being
no errors or omissions, were approved as read.
Thereupon Clerk read letter of resignation of H. C. Scott, as Cgmm~ander of the
Elsinore Disaster Council. Council accepted said resignation pending the February
23rd meeting of the Disaster Council, when reappointment would be discussed.
Thereupon Clerk read letter from Attorney Best on codifying and general
indexing ordinances. Action tabled until next meeting.
Thereupon Clerk read bid from Island Construction Company. Bid not considered
because of the late date received.
Whereupon it was moved by Councilman Farber, seconded by Councilman Tavsy,that
the City install a sidewalk ~~ x 50~ on Wreden Hotel lot on South Main Street
across from City Park. Estimate cost 22 cents per square foot. :~Tork to be started
upon receipt o£ deposit from irlreden Hotel. Motion, upon vote, was carried.
Whereupon it was moved by Councilman Tavis, seconded by Councilman Macy,
that J. Truitt be allowed vacation pay from February 15, 1951 to March 1, 1951.
Motion, upon w te, was carried.
Whereupon it was moved by Councilman Macy, seconded by Councilman Farber,
that City Attorney draw up agreement by and between 6d. J. Hall and City of Elsinore,
awarding contract for installation of roof on City Reserwir ~2. Motion, was
carried by the following vote:
Councilman Tavis Yes
n Macy Yes
" Farber Yes
Hayor Washburn Yes
Whereupon it was moved by Councilman Farber,
that Council adjourn until next regular meeting.
