A regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Elsinore was held
on the above date. The meeting was called to order at the hour of 7:30 P. M.
' with Mayor iashburn in the chair.
Councilmen R.-Hull, R. Macy, S. Farber and Mayor jnlashburn were present.
Absent. J. Taxis.
Thereupon the Clerk read the minutes of the meeting of March 12th and there
being no errors or omissions, were approvedas read.
Whereupon it was moved by Councilman Macy, seconded by Councilman Farber,
that Mayor ?4shburn have the heater repaired in the men's lavatory. Motion, upon
vote, was carried.
Whereupon it was moved by Councilman Hull, seconded by Councilman Farber, that
Resolution No. 675, that the Mayor and City Clerk to sign ball park lease, be
passed and adopted as read. Motion, upon vote, was carried by the follo~~d.ng vote:

Mayor Washburn Yes
Whereupon it was moved by Councilman Farber, seconded by Councilman Hull, that
Resolution No. 676, transfer of general fund monies to 1933 bond fund, be passed
and adopted as read. Motion, upon vote, was carried by the following vote:

Macy Yes
" Farber Yes Absent: One
Mayor ?+lashburn Yes
Whereupon it was moved by motion of Councilman Hull, seconded by Councilman
Macy, that I~0 one gallon cans of paint be purchased from National Tatanium Company
at '2.75 per gallon. HSotion, upon vote, was carried.
Whereupon it was moved by Councilman Hull, seconded by Councilman Farber, that
clerk be authorized to purchase Ready Mix-Concrete for sidewalks of Wreden Hotel lot
and pit at City Yard. Motion, upon vote, was carried.
'Whereupon it was moved by Councilman Hull, seconded by Farber, that Resolution
No. 677 be passed, hiring E. Delorme as regular patrolman, and salary of said
patrolman effective April 1, 1951. Motion, upon vote, was carried.
Yhereupon it was moved by Councilman Hull, seconded by Farber, that Resolution
No. 678 be passed and adopted to increase the salary of each employee in the police
department '10.00 per month, effective April 1, 1951. Motion, upon vote, was carried.
Whereupon it was moved by Councilman Hull, seconded by Councilman Macy, that
the Financial Report of the Treasurer and City Clerk, be accepted as read. Motion,
upon vote, was carried.
The matter of increases for other city employees, other than the police
will be brought up at the next regular meeting.

The matter of the business license of Clyde Longe was discussed, but it-was
tabled at this time. ~,
Councilman Hull read the Police Department report.
Hank .Boontjer,requested an increase in salary as fire chief and at this time,
Mr. Staift of the Fireunderwriters Association gave a short talk on the merits and
evaluation of fire chiefs in regard to remuneration. Matter iras tabled until a
future date.
Mr. Charles Brewer volunteered to help burn weeds on vacant lots in his
vicinity.
Mr. H. Platt discussed radio station facilities in Elsinore, stating that the
County would install equipment if city will build a small building on Hampton Hilh
said station to be controlled from City Hall Building.
Mr. Gediman was requested to report to Council on Ordinances for California
Restaurant Act, Food Processing and Swimming Pools.
Whereupon it was moved by Councilrna.n Hull, seconded by Councilman Macy, that
the bills be paid as audited by auditing committee, and warrants drawn for same.
Motion, upon vote was carried.
Whereupon it was moved by Councilman Hull, seconded by Farber, that meeting
be adjourned at 10:55 P. hi. Motion, upon w te, was ried.
