M. with Mayor 4ashburn in the chair. Councilmen R. Hull, R, liacy, J. Tavis, S. Farber and Mayor ':dashburn were prese 'nihereupon it was moved by Councilman Tavis, seconded by Councilman Hull that Resolution no. b90 authorizing Mayor and City Clerk to sign electric power contract (~ for Sewer Disposal plant be passed and adopted. Motion, upon vote, was carried, i i rlhereupon it was moved by Councilman Macy, seconded by Councilman Hull that Resolution No. 693 declaring park caretaker position vacant be passed and adopted, ' Motion, upon vote, was carried. ~ :Thereupon it was moved by Councilman Macy, seconded by Gouncilmzn Hull that Resolution Pdo. 692 declaring A. A. Anderson be hired as Park Caretaker and his salary to be x,1']5.00 per month, effective June 15, 1951. Motion, upon vote, was carried. ',lihereupon it was moved by Councilman Macy, seconded by Councilman Tavis, that the city attorney draw up Resolution i`o. 693 adopting the street and sewer grades ~~ maps as new offical ,grades. 3•iotion, upon vote, was carried, I ;•1'nereupon it was moved by Councilman Tavis, seconded by Councilman Hull, that the-clerk or aayor call the city attorney on modification of concrete, weight or ii volume part of Sewer Disposal Plant Specification. Motion, upon vote, was carried. I) `lihereupon it was moved by Councilman Farber, secended. by Councilman 'Tavis, that Resolution No. 694 declaring Street Superintendent position 'vacant be passed and adopted. Motion, upon vote, was carried. i~Thereupon it was moved by Councilman Farber, seconded by Councilman Tavis _"' that Resolution No. 695 hiring Gerald Ripdon as working street superintendent and salar~'~ be X200.00 per monthe effective June 16th. 1951 be passed and adopted,. ~ l~iotion, upon vote, o-aas carried. ~ji i~Tnereupon it was moved by Councilman Farber, seconded by Councilman Hull that iii C. 0. Soots be relieved as material auditor for city on construction o£-Sewer Disposal Plant and that Gerald Rigdon be appointed in his stead, Motion, upon vote, i'~, was carried. .r f The City Clerk to write a letter to Currie Engineering Co. that it is permissable for them to hire C. 0. Soots full time with £ull_pay. ~\ iJhereupon it ~,ras moved by Councilman Hull, seconded by Councilman Tavis that Councilman Farber be allowed 30 days leave of absence. Motion, upon vote, was carp whereupon it was moved by Councilman Tavis, seconded by Councilman Macy that the following alleys be included in list of street maintainance work: alley from Prospect Street to Peck Street, alley from Sulphur Street to Peck Street, alleys to receive 1~~ blacktop Goading.
