~ A regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Elsinore was held on the ( i
above date.. The meeting was called to order at the hour of 7:30 P.M. with Mayor
Mashburn in the chair.

Councilman R. Hull, R. Macy, ~S. Farber), J. `tavis and Mayor Washburn were present. ~
Thereupon the Clerk `read the minutes of the meeting of October 8, 1951, and the I~
sixth paragraph will be modified to read as follows, "that the U.S. Forestry Station I
put up ono parking signs", and there being no further errors or omissions, were
approved as read.
Thereupon the Clerk read the minutes of the Planning Commission and there`~:being ~~
no errors or omissions, were approved as read.
I thereupon it was moved by Mayor Washburn, seconded by Councilman Hull that the i
proposed hearing on Annexation be postponed to November 26, 1951. Motion, upon vote,
was carried.
Whereupon it was moved by Mayor dashburn, seconded by Councilman Macy that a
resolution be adopted accepting that certain property in Block 19, clerk to record.
Motion, upon vote,-was carried.
Thereupon Mr. S. W. Lowden of the State Division of Highways appeared before the
council on the matter of the Freeway through Elsinore city. limits. A letter was read
to the Council from the California Highway Commission asking them to pass a
resolution indicating whether or not it was necessary or desirable to hold a public
hearing.
Whereupon it was moved by Councilman Farber, seconded by Councilman Hull that
it be resolved by the City Council,:that they waive the necessity of a public hearing
on the Freeway and that the Clerk send a copy to Supt. Jones and £our copies of
same to S. 'r7. Lowden. Motion was carried by the following vote:
Councilman Hull Yes Ayes: Five
Councilman Tavis Yes
Councilman Macy Yes Noes: None
Councilman Farber Yes
Mayor ;Iashburn Yes Absent: None
I Thereupon the Clerk read a note from Pir. Luckow stating that if the-City
wished to move the garage off city property they may do so at their own expense.
Councilman Tavis stated as long as he had been notified before and at this time
received notice from the City Attorney to move the garage off city property, the
City should not assume expense or become involved moving the garage.
Councilman Macy and Councilman Farber are to investigate the water line to
Afr. Mosko~s residence in connection with a partial refund of deposit made by Nr.
Mosko.
Councilman Farber is to investigate crack in sidewalk at 122.5. Main Street..
Whereupon it was moved by Councilman Farber, seconded by Councilman Hull that
sidewalk be put in on south side of l~l. Graham. Ave. between Poe and Langstaff Streets.
Motion, upon vote, was carried.
