Motion, upon vote, was carried. Whereupon it was moved by Councilman Macy, seconded by Councilman Farber that the police car service repairs be rotated among the service stations alpha- betically starting with L. The meeting was called to order at the hour of 7:30 P.M, with ~~ Mayor`Washburn in the chair. a '; Councilmen R. Hull, R. Macy, J. Tavis, S. Farber and Mayor Washburn were present. ii !_ Thereupon the Clerk read the minutes of the meeting of .October 22, 1951 4 and there being no errors or omissions, were approved as read. `~ `Thereupon it was moved by Councilman Macy, seconded by Councilman Farber ` the City Clerk issue a Purchase Order for Morse-Fairbanks Motor, 2 H.P. Horizontal and Electric Starter at X305.34 plux tax. Motion, upon vote, was carried. Whereupon it was moved by Mayor Washburn, seconded by Councilman Hull -that Councilman Macy be in charge of excavation of Outfall Pumping Pit and Pit house, also to see that concrete blocks are used for building same . Motion, upon ! vote was carried. 'thereupon it was moved by Councilman Farber, seconded by Councilman Hull that Ira Bradley be allowed full pay from November~lst to 15th, 1951. Motion, upon vote, eras carried. 6~1Yiereupon it was moved by Councilman Farber, seconded by Councilman Macy that a purcha ~ order be issued for 3 gals. water base paint, 1 gal. flat white, 1 gal. varnish and one package spackel for fixing up-City Ha 11. Motion, upon vote, was carried. €~ Whereupon it was moved by Councilman Farber, seconded by Councilman Macy ~ that a resolution,5be adopted to accept the following property. Lot 6, B1oCk 2 1~ from U. Jaco~s to City of Elsinore and an easement over and across a portion of i Block 6 of Elsi m re townsite from J. B. Lehigh and clerk to record same. Motion, ~ upon vote, was carried. ~~ ;; e4nereupon it was moved by Councilman Farber, seconded by Councilman Hull '~ that The Chimes be allowed to put in brick sidewalk out to curb. Two driveway i~ entrances subject to State and City inspection and permits. Motion, upon vote,. ! was carried. Whereupon it was moved by Councilman Farber, seconded by Councilman Hull that a pole light be installed on E. Hill Street between Franklin and Pottery Streets, also a pole light on pole across from alley on Prospect Street. The California Electric Power Co. shall be ordered to do above work. Motion, upon vote,was carried. Whereupon it was moved by Councilman Hull, seconded by Councilman Tavis that the City Council of the City of Elsim re does hereby approve of the Cities admission into the joint Civil Defense Group of the valley. Motion, upon vote, was carried. Whereupon it was moved by Councilman Farber, seconded by Councilman Hull that Councilman Macy be authorized to arrange for the purchasing of galvanized pipe !'ixe frrom Bebeck & Brkich Co. at City Sewer Disposal Plant. Motion, upon vote, was carried.
