The meeting was called to order at the hour of 7:30- P.M. with ,Iayor .Washburn in the chair. -_ € i' Councilmen :R. Hull, R. Macy; J. Tavis, S, Farber and Mayor '.Jashburh were !f present. ~~ Thereupon the Clerk read the minutes of the meeting of December ].0, 1951 ( and there being no errors or omissions, were approved as read. ~1I1 ~4 Whereupon it seas moved b,~,r Councilman Farber, sec®nded by Councilman Hull, ~€ that G. W. Rigdon's resignation be accepted. Motion, upon vote, was carried. !€ i, rn]hereupon it eras moved by Councilman Farber, seconded b~> Councilman Macy that C. 0.- Soots be appointed temporary Superintendent of Street. Motion, upon vote, was carried, It was suggested by council that cit~r water clerk write Ben Sapkin telling him of existing water meter conditions of his building and that Mr. J. Seitz re- fused to pay water bill. P4otion, upon vote, vras carried. Whereupon it was moved by Councilman Farber; seconded by Councilman D4acy that a letter be sent to the Santa Fe Railroad Company stating the city vrill put in burm on east side of Spring Street and blacktop two or three foot strip as will be required to meet their section excepting at switches. We will also put iri storm drain excepting under railroad bed as suggested by Ms. McDaniel, Motion was carried b~~ the follosvin~ vote: Councilman Hull Yes Ayes: Five Councilman Tavis Yes Councilman Macy Yes Noes: None Councilman Farber Yes Mawr Washburn Yes Absent: None Whereupon it was moved by Councilman Farber, seconded by Councilman Macy that annexation of Sewer Land hearing be postponed to January 28, 1952 at 8:00 P.M. o'clock. Motion, upon vote, was carried. I!. thereupon it was moved by Mayor. Washburn, seconded by Councilman Farber that Councilman Macy act as project auditor on sewer £arm contract. Motion, upon vote, was carried, 6 j! 'dhereupon it was moved.by,Counclman Farber, seconded by Councilman Macy ~ that a Resolution be passed and adopted protesting to Assembly and Senate Intrim Committees en Further demands on ahe part of the counties to fake more funds ~E than was stated in Senate Bill 642. Motion, upon vote, was carried. ! I I !!! It ~•ras suggested by Councilman Farber that providing the county could do it when they had there equipment in, that he saiIl have Granite Street hill lr- cut ~~ to grade if it is agreeable with the rest of the board.
