This being an ordinance prohibiting outdoor Commercial Advert;;ing along Freeways. After ~~ discussion Ordinance No. 339 was passed and adopted and the Clerk instructed to (i publish the same, on motion by Councilman Hull, seconded by Councilman Nelson ,by the ollowing vote: ~~ Councilman Johnson Yes Noes None ~~ 4. IQelson, R. Hull; and Ntayor t~forgan answered roll call, Councilman E, Washburn being absent. ii The Clerk read the minutes of the regular meeting o£ April 28, 1952, there being ~~ no errors or omissions noted, they were approvedas read. i Resignation of Oscar E. Tilley, effective June 15th, from theS6treet llept. was ~ read and accepted by the council with regret-Clerk caas instructed to write a letter to I•Ir. Neon proposed either ya £3x 24ft. full reflectm~ized-baked enamel sign at X30.00 per month or a 10 x 25 ft. ~~baked enamel sign :•rith reflectorized letter at X30.00 per month. E~i j~6 Mr. K. Eyre proposed by letter, a l0 x 25 ft. wood sign with reflectorized (3lettering at X25.00 per month. No action by council pending negotiation of agree- ment with Elsinore Chamber. of Cgmmerce and City of Corona regarding payments of sign rental. Councilmen declared themselves in favor of erection of some type of €~directional sign. ~! City Clerk instructed to contact K. Eyre also '+~hn. Gettemy and determine if they iijcoulci furnish comparable sign service. 3 On motion o£ Councilman Nelson seconded by Councilman Hu11 and carried: the garbace collection fee for the Elsinore Sanitarium was reduced from ?2.00 to the basic I~redidential fee of 50¢ per month plus 25¢ per month for each rental or roomer-fee ~~~ot to exceed ;$2.00 per mi~nth. On motion of Councilman Nelson Seconded b~* Councilman Johnson and carried the loti+ring street signs urere order purchased and erected: One 25 M?H sign to be ced at entrance to city across from Union Oil Co. Plant: One 25'M?'H sign errected r Ba11 nark for 4destbound traffic on Lakeshore Drive and: One 25 MPH sign erected r Silver St. on Lakeshore Drive for Eastbound traffic: Also three stop signs to placed on Silver St; Scrivener S±, and Lewis St. for South bound traffice enter- Lakeshore Drive. On motion of Councilman Johnson, seconded by Councilman Hull and. carried, Clerk instructed to have ~lO.OQ floral piece sent to P~„ncral of former City Employee- "lflen in behalf of the pity o£ %~lsinore. On motion o£ Councilman Hull, Seconded by Councilman Johnson and carried, all ills urere ordered Pais as audited. On motion of Councilman Johnson, seconded by Councilman Hull, report o£ City Cit~r Treasurer tiaere ordered accepted as submitted.
