COUNCIL MEF"SING DECF~BER 7, 1959
The City Council of the City of Elsinore met i.n regular session on
December 7, 1959, and was ca7.led to order at 7:40 P':M. with Mayor
Bartlett presiding.
Invocation was delivered by Father P4eagher, and the Pledge of Allegiance
was led by Councilman Davidson.
Roll call. found all £ive councilmen present.
The minutes of Nov. 16 were approved as read, and the Planning Commission
minutes of Dec. 3 were accepted and ordered filed,
Attorney Kegley's recommendation to deny Mr. Rodger's request for an
easement ~~?as read, also Mr. Rodger's easement deed, Action deferred
until Dec. 21 meeting.
Paul Kuenzli's request to do the library & n t park caretaking, upon
his retirement, at a salary of ~h90 per mont_ was grantbe3 on motion
Councilman Yarbcrough, seconded Councilman Davidson, carried,

Nir. Olefsky-'s request to erect a,sign on city property at the corner
of Riley & Cdraham was held over for further investigation cn motion

Notice from Los Angeles Airways, announcing that application has been
made to bring helicopter passenger & mail service to Elsinore was
-read. On motion Councilman i4acy, seconded Ccuncilman Davidson, carried,

Resolution 1003, authorizing street lite at Adobe 8c Flint, carried on
motion Councilman Yarborough, seconded Ccuncilman 1KcAdains.
Resolution 1001, notifying Board of Supervisors that Sheriff's Sub-
station lease will. not be renewed carried on knotion Councilman ~a-vi.dson,
seconded Councilman Yarborough.
Resolution 1005, authorizing Den C, Davis to prepare street deficiency
report, carried over,
On motion Councilman Davidson, seconded Councilman Macy, carried, the
clerk was instructed to notify M, R, Milts of Suortmen's Lodge, by
registered mail, that his card room license will not be renewed rahen it
expires on Dec. 31, 1959.
Estimated bids on the drilling of a sweet water well were read
McCoy - X1,,235 - no test - 300 ft.
Studebaker - X3,950 - 300 £t, well - no test.
Trenary - $E3,920 - 300 ft.-72 hr. test.
Graham Bres. - x3,950 - no test.
Discussion on well bids held to adjourned meetii7g on Friday, December
11, at 1.:00 p,m,
:darrants audited by the corrmiittee were approved & ordered paid on
motion Councilman Yarborough, seconded Councilman llavidson, carried.
Clerk's & Treasurer's reports for October Caere accepted & ordered filed.
