HomeMy WebLinkAbout06-15-1961 Adjourned City Council Minutes2~.a ADJOURNED OOUNGIL MEETING JUNE 15, 1961 The City Council of the City of Elsinort met in an ad3ourpued session on June 15, 1961,-and was called to order at 7:00 P.M. with Mayor Bartlett presiding. Invocatioa was delivered by Councilman Yarborough, and the Pledge of Allegiance was led by Councilman Berry. R©11 call found all five councilmen present. Mr. Swick and Mr. Swan were in attendance to answer various questions on the summer recreation program. The quotation of X256.50 for ineuraace to cover the skating rink was accepted on motion Councilman Berry,. seconded Councilman Yarborough, car. On motion Councilmaa Berry, seconded Councilman Yarborough, the agreement with the Elsinore School District for the appropriation of funds for the summer recreation was approved. Resolution #1052, adtting the salaries of city employees for the 1961/62 ff~l.scal year was adopted on motion Councilman Berry, seconded Councilman Yarborough, car. The request of Mona Leese for the use of the City Park on July 2 f®r a World War I picnic was granted on motion Councilman Yarberough, seconded Councilman Berry, car.
