HomeMy WebLinkAbout05-21-1962 Adjourned City Council Minutes2~5 ADJOURNED MEETING MAY 21, 1962 The City Council of the City of Elsinore met in an adjourned session on May 21, 1962 and was called to order at 7:30 P.M, with Mayor Bartlett presiding. Invocation was delivered by Councilman Yarborough, and the Pledge of Allegiance was led by Councilman Berry. Roll call found all five councilmen present. Attorney Dougherty and Everett Philips also in attendance. Correspondence read was a request from Moroni St. residents for street work and Morris Kominsky for consideration to residents when water is to be turned off. No action taken. Everett Philips read a letter to the council concerning his proposed resolution regarding the water. Resolution 1078, asking for an extension of the water permit carried on motion Councilman Yarborough, seconded Councilman Berry. Jun® Ltth was the date set for an adjourned meeting to hear from government financing .men regarding the possible f}nancinE of sewer and water program. Mayor Bartlett proclaimed May 24-25-26 as 4eterans Poppy Days in the City of Elsinore. Resolution 1079, authorizing f5:rther action to annex the southeast territory to the City of Elsinore, carried on motion Councilman Yarborough, seconded Councilman Stewart. Action on the Recreation Agreeme~Yt~:was held to next meeting. D. R. Crane being present, discussed the flood control area with the Attorney & Council. Attorney Ganahh s letter regarding the option on the sewer farm property was' taken under consideration.
