HomeMy WebLinkAbout04-30-1962 Adjourned City Council MinutesADJOURNED MEETING APRIL 30, 1962 The City Council of the City of Elsinore met in an ad3ourried session on April 30, 1962 and was called to order at 7:30 P.M, with Mayor Bartlett presiding. Invocation was delivered by Nev. Durham and the Pledge of Allegiance was led by Councilman Berry. Roll call found Councilman Hitt absent. Attorney Dougherty also in attendance. The recreation agreement with the High School District was held over to next meeting for rev$ev. Fetter of approval to be sent to the Public Utilities Commission on the removal of the cattle pens on motion Councilman Yarborough, seconded Councilman Berry, car. Group Insurance quotations for the increase in the premiums held over for further study. Resolution 1077, creating the office of City Administrator was }:ead and discussed. On motion Councilman Berry, aeconded Councilman Stewart, action tabled to next meeting. Councilman Berry inquired of Mr. Dougherty, what action being taken on ditch. Legals being obtained to declare a water course. Councilman Bury suggested that office of planning commissioner be declared vacant. No action taken until Rill council present. Mr. Swick extended an invitation to Mayor Bartlett to throe the first ball at the dedication of the Little League field on May ltth. Lou Goulart stated that he talked with Mr. Watson from the State Park and that perhaps the state would match funds for the building of new restrooms to serve both the State Park and Ball Park on Lakeshore Dr. blxrther investigation to be made.
