COUNCIL MEETING NOVEMBER 2$, 1963
The City Council of the City of Elsinore met in regular session on
November 25, 1963, and was called to order at 7:30 P.M, with Mayor
Bartlett presiding.
Invocation was delivered by Rev. Davis and the Pledge of Allegiance was
led by Councilman Berry.
Roli call found all five councilmen present. City Manager Guler and
City Attorney Dougherty also in attendance.
The minutes of November 12 were approved as read..
Warrants were approved and ordered paid on motion Councilman Yarborough,
seconded Councilman Stewart, car.
Congratulatory letters on the Diamond Jubilee were read and ordered filed.
Letter of appreciation from Tan Martin read and filed.
On motion Councilman Berry, seconded Councilman Yarborough, car., attendance
of Co. Library meeting on Dec. 4th and League of Calif. Cities meeting
on Dec. 19th approved.
After much discussion on card rooms, motion Councilman Berry, seconded
Councilman Yarborough, car., notices to be sent to all card rooms by City
Attorney, for hearing ail licensees.
State Div. of Beaches a; Parks agreement to be handled by City Attorney.
Ordiaance #415, re. City Manager title carried on first readings on motion
Councilman Yarbooough, seconded Councilman Berry.
City Manager to negotiate with State on sewer dumping rate of $6.00 per
truck load and metered water rate on motion Councilman Berry, seconded
Councilman Yarborough, car.
Street deficiency fund to be used for Pottery S Spring drain if approved
by State Div. of Hwys. or for Pottery street resurfacing on motd~on
Councilman Yarborough, seconded Councilman Hitt, car.
Mr. Perez and Mrs. Morrison expressed their thanks to the City and Diamond
Jubilee committee for the successful jubilee.
On motion Councilman Yarborough,
