The City Council of the City of Elsinore met in regular session on
November 9, 1964 and was called to order at 7:30 P.M, with Mayor
Bartlett presiding.
Invocation was delivered by Rev. Horton and the Pledge of Allegiance
was led by Councilman Berry.

Roll call found all five councilmen present. City Manager Guler rr
Attorney Dougherty also in attendance.
The minutes of October 26, 1964 were approved as read.
Warrants were approved and ordered paid on motion Councilman Yarborough,
seconded Councilman Berry, car.
All who can to attend the League of Calif. Cities meeting in Fontana
on Nov. 18, 1964.
Samuel Zatman's request to have sidewalks repaired read. Staff to
notify owners in this specific case 6 to take steps to have sidewalk
survey made of town.
Dr. Schwartz's request fora 60 day extension on the demolition of the
Lake Elsinore Hotel granted to Dec. 31st. with the provision that the
hotel be properly boarded up on motion Counciiman DePasquale, seconded
Councilman Berry, car., City Attorney to notify Dr. Schwartz of council's
action.
Motion Councilman DePasquale, seconded Councilman Stewart, car., City
Manager authorized to execute lease agreement with Santa Fe for parking
lot and work out details of the required barricade.
The Santa Fe Railway Co. quotation on purchase price of abandoned right-
of-way read for information of council.
The second reading of Ord, #424 held to Nov. 23 on motion Councilman
Yarborough,.seconded Councilman Stewart, car., due to the protests
filed by Mr. Connor. Petition filed by Mr. Connor was returned to him
on his request & upon favorable advice from City Attorney.
Ord. #425, amending the hours on dance ordinance carried on the second
reading on motion Councilman Berry, seconded Councilman Yarborough, car.
Motion Councilman Yarborough, seconded Counciiman DePasquale, car., attorney
to prepare ordinance regulating the parking of trailers, campers, etc. in
private yards.
Carl Snider's letter re. sewer lines to be studied by council and carried
over to later meeting.
Motion Mayor Bartlett, seconded Councilman Berry, car., Councilmen
Yarborough 6 Stewart appointed to work with architect on the proposed
community building.
Motion Councilman Yarborough, seconded Councilman Berry, car., mineral
water to be excluded from the cold water tap in kitchen, toilets and
irrigation lines. City Attorney to draw an appropriate resolution for
formal adoption.
Councilmen DePasquale & Berry appointed to check into Southern Cor:nties
Association of Governments on motion Councilman Stewart, seconded
Councilman Yarborough, car.
The Wilsey Ham 8 Blair agreement referred to City Attorney.
Mr. Lonnor inquired about the possibility of diagonal parking on Main St.
to be checked into with the State Div. of Highways.
No further business appearing, the meeting adjourned at 9:40 P.M, on motion
Councilman Stewart, seconded Councilman DePasquale, car.
