The City Council of'the'City of Elsinore met in regul8r session on
September 28, 1964 and was"called to order at 7:30 P,M, wPth Mayor
Bartlett presiding.
Invocation was delivered by Councilman Yarborough and the`Piedge of
Allegiance was led by Councilman Berry.
`` RoIT call found all five councilmen present. Attorney Dougherty also
`in attendance.
The minutes of September 14, 1964 were approved"as read.
The clerks and treasurers reports for August were accepted on motion
Councilman Berry, seconded Councilman DePasquale, car.

The warrants were approved and ordered paid on motion Councilman Stewart
seconded Councilman Yarborough, car.

S.J. Goldman's letter re. 1100 W. Graham Ave. was read 6 filed, to be
answered after October 12th meeting. _

''League 'of Calif. Cities conference October 11-14 in Los 'Angeles to be
attended by all who can on motion Councilman Berry, seconded Councilman
,Yarborough, car.
The requests of the Alumni Association to dance until 2:00 A.M, on Nov. 14
and the Los Amigos Charity 8 Social Club to dance until 2:00 A.M. on Oct. 10
were granted on motion Councilman DePasquale, seconded Councilman
Yarborough, car.
The Planning Commission's recommendation for amending Ord. #366 was
tabled for further study on motion Councilman DePasquale, seconded
Councilman Yarborough, car.
Motion Councilman DePasquale, seconded Councilman Yarborough, car., the
request of Mr. 8 Mrs. Maltsberger fora conditional exception at Lakeshore
8 Townsend was granted on condition that work start within thirty days
and be completed within six months.
The request of Mr. Nanson fora conditional exception at 107 N. Langstaff
carried to Oct. 26th on motion Councilman DePasquale, seconded Councilman
Stewart, car.
The request of Mr. Gilbreath fora conditional exception on Railroad Ave.
tabled on motion Councilman Berry, seconded Councilman DePasquale, car.
Motion Councilman Berry, seconded Councilman DePasquale, car., Ord. #423
read by title only.
Ord. #423 carried on the second reading on motion Councilman Yarborough,
seconded Councilman DePasquale, car.
Resoiation #1143 re. the select street system carried on motion
Councilman Yarborough, seconded Councilman DePasquale.
The Southern California Edison Co. franchise proposal carried over to
next meeting.
The Planning Commission recommendation for rezoning Graham Ave. to the
City Limits to be referred to City Attorney for preparing of necessary papers
on motion Councilman Berry, seconded Councilman DePasquale, car.,

Duane. Roderick's recommendation to amend the dance ordinance to allow
dancing until 2:00 A.M. to be referred to City Attorney for
preparation of necessary papers on motion Councilman Stewart,
seconded Councilman OePasquale, car.
The proposal of the Wilsey, Nam S Glair Co.'for a geneFal plan
for the City carried over to .next meeting.

Mrs. A.J. Miller's card room license to be renewed until Oec.,.31, 1964
so as to uniform the expiration date of ail ea rd room license's.
City Attorney to arrange a meeting with Santa Fe officials
regarding the removal of tracks along Railroad Ave. by'the
buck plant. .~.
George A~semian reported on the problem of lunch'wagons parking
near the school and too close to an existing business. City .,
Attorney recommended that he obtain copies of ordinances from`
other cities regmlating thb operation of luhch wagons and study
would be made., ,
